What are Belldandy's?
Belldandys, also known as Belldees for short, are a fluffy little pixie horse the size of a small rodent. The Belldee will fly from house to house, normally through a window, visiting little children and infants before they fall asleep. Their bells hold a certain pixie dust that brings the little ones good fortune and sweet dreams. Belldandy's eyes are always closed, giving them a calm, pleasant expression upon their faces. They can come in an assortment of colors, any colors you could possibly imagine. Though Belldee's can fly, it is less common for them to have wings; their magical aura is what helps most to fly. Belldandys eat flower petals and leaves for the most part, anything else they eat would consist of an assortment of berries or grasses. One thing they love especially, but is so rare for them to come across is tea. They are obsessed with it and will stop dead in their tracks if they see a cup of it sitting on a table or stand. Lots of people leave tea out at night to try and spot the fluffy pixies.

It's bells are a transparent, "bubble stick" quality but do not actually blow bubbles.

What's this though? Those three bubbles seem to be following this belldandy everywhere!

Why are the bubbles special to this belldandy?:
It's an odd way how the mind works. Sometimes, what seems like just a coincidence to most, is a living nightmare to others. As a young child, Salmon could never understand other Belldees, their words seemed like gibberish. She was an odd young Belldandy, who's bells were much like the bubbles that had been blown when she was born. A young child had found Salmon's parents, as they had her. He blew bubbles as the baby Belldee came into existence, which replaced the bells. The little boy hen left, never to be seen again. Years passed. Salmon couldn't understand no one, and was living in her own little world where no one talks. Where no one listens. Then, three blown bubbles came off of her bells. They whispered to her in a voice she could understand, and slowly began to speak slightly like a normal Belldee. Her voice is still strange however. Many say the bubbles don't whisper, but could you tell this to Salmon? The bubbles are like her only friends. She can not understand anyone but them. Insanity? You could call it that. But I would call it luck.

➳ }} why are the bubbles special to this belldandy? :: aozame is a very peculiar young soul. he loves bubbles, and he sees them as childrens' dreams. being a belldandy of very specific dreams, he flies from house to house, sending them dreams of bubbles floating in the near horizon, shimmering as the sun's rays give them their spectrum. it's a magical experience to any child, and that's what makes aozame happy. when it comes to the three bubbles that always follow him, think of the number. three, to aozame, is a lucky number. it's a crowd, a multitude of dreams, a number that's just perfect for him. it's an odd number, too, and he thinks odd numbers are better than the even. and they always follow him, and once they pop, another takes its place. aozame wants no more and no less than three bubbles following him. he speaks of his bubbles in a dignified air, too. they are, to him, a metaphor for dreams. they shimmer, they glow, they are so easily made and so easily broken. at the slightest touch they wobble, and with just enough force, they break. but in order to create a dream one must know what they want to do, how to do it, and at what cost. as soon as these dreams are made, they will float around, they will follow you, they will remind you of their constant existence. just like dreams, these bubbles can fade, they can be forgotten, but new ones will appear, and they will exist as long as they are needed.

aozame knows that for every child, dreams will never last forever. but if said child holds on tight, knows to hone that bubble and turn it into reality, that bubble will still burst, but it will create the most beautiful spectrum of all.

Why are the bubbles special to this belldandy?: Soul loved spending his time near rocky beaches and ponds, finding shells and many other trickets he would stumble upon left by careless Belldandy's. One warm night while walking on the trail from the beach to get home, Soul saw a shiny, pink, and clear glass bubble, the second one laying next to it being identical, but smaller. Finding the two trickets very interesting, Soul picked them up and taking off the rope around his neck and tail he turned the two glass bubbles into necklaces. Carefully wrapping the ropes back to place, he continued his walk back home. Half way home Soul stopped in his tracks as three faint lights appeared around him, soon turning visible. They looked like normal bubbles, but lighter. Still standing in place in awe of the strange floating bubbles, he heard a cheery "Hi!". The bubbles could talk.. Ever since then Soul has had the bubbles, the first named Agape, the second named Aegeus, the third named Aleta, as family and without them he would be alone, always trying to fill the gap with objects he finds.

All her life, Kenzie has been hurt. No one ever seemed to mind her or even take a glance at her. Her bubbles are her only sense of peace and harmony. Like three guardians surrounding her in a giant shield protecting her from harm and danger. Tenziehas never hurt anyone so why would they do it to her? But, she doesn't need to worry anymore as she has three translucent bubbles guiding her through life.

Why are the bubbles special to this belldandy~
The baby belldandy floated quietly around the koi pond. She remained unconsious while the fish began to stir underneath her. "What is a baby doing here?" a koi asked. "I don't know. We should wake it up." said another koi. The fish swam up to the surface and gently wacked the baby with its tail. "Is it awake now?" the koi said as it swam back to the others. "I think so, it just moved." another koi said. The baby had indeed moved. It was now splashing around in the water, giggling. The baby then looked down in the water to see four pairs of eyes looking up at her. Curious, the baby swam down to the fish. "Her parents must have taught her to swim." one of the koi said. The other koi nodded their heads. "But where are her parents? This pond is deep in the forest, the only house in the forest is 100 miles away!" a koi fish asked. The oldest koi fish finally spoke. "Her name shall be Maria, and we will raise her as one of our own."

Many years later, the koi pond had started to dry up. The water was now very shallow, and two of the koi had beached themselves and dried up. Now it was only Maria, the old koi known as Ritsuko, and Maria's caregiver Bilva. Maria was at the age where she would leave the pond. One day Ritsuko asked Maria to find a small hole in the bottom of the pond. "Inside the hole you will find preserved bubbles." Ritsuko had told her "The great koi from the ponds of the waterfall gave them to me and told me that wherever I was, they would follow me. They would protect me, care for me and help me. So now Maria, I give them to you. And when you are old and no longer need their help, give them to someone important to you. Now go, and find where you belong." And with that, Maria leaped out of the pond and trotted off into the distance.
