Wood fox's name: Asan
Gender: Female
Story: () Jolly sat, staring absently at a butterfly. She was by herself, but mother-fox's voice rang in her mind, reminding her to 'be safe', and have good hunting. That's what Jolly was just doing, but, instead of hunting mice or voles, however, she was hunting insects. Specifically tiny green crickets which she heard chirping all around her. It was amazing how such little things made such a strong sound, she thought to herself joyfully. Jolly swished her tail, attention directing back towards the butterfly, which had flew away. She whined, jumping up and snapping at the insect, but it was out of reach. Jolly continued her hunt for crickets, but soon realized it was getting too dark for her. Her young eyes struggled to adjust to the growing dark, and she barked unhappily, not able to find her way home. Around her, crickets grew louder and the sounds of night overwhelmed the once peaceful clearing she was in. Jolly sang with them, her cries of fear drowned by the crickets.
Mother-fox, noticing how dark it was, went out to find her only kit. This was long before the time of tribes, and the mother went alone. Eventually, as morning began to break, and the crickets started to calm, mother-fox found Jolly, chirping bitterly with her paws over her muzzle. Mother-fox nuzzled her child and they were reunited as the crickets song suddenly stopped. This is why crickets chirp at night, but hardly during the day. They symbol hope, and a brighter day ahead after a dark night.
((There! I hope you like it! ^^ Tried to write it like it was a fairytale. May edit it to make it better. I didn't know if you wanted a story about Asan or just a story that'd be good to tell Asan xD))
