WHAT IS A LIGHT COLLECTOR? //

Hello and welcome to Light Collector Adopts! Here you may adopt tiny mystical creatures known as Light Collectors. Light Collectors are very tiny and light, enabling them to have the ability to fly without having wings. One of the first things that one may notice, however, is their very strange glowing tails and horns. The color of a Collector's horns vary in color, and it is thought that the color represents their favorite color of light to ''eat''. Confused? Well, you see, a Light Collector eats or ''collects'' energy from light bulbs, giving them their name. A Light Collector needs to collect light to survive, as it is their main food source. A Light Collector may eat other things, such as fruit, but it doesn't help them very much hunger wise.

My first halloween LC. I made one before this one but I'm still
deciding whether or not it'll go up for adoption (:

This one is also based off of bats. Black ones and of course, those cute white and yellow-furred ones.

To adopt this LC, you will write a story.

But not just any story.

The story will be in first person. It must also have some sort poetic device used in it.
Make it sound as if it slightly rhymes. It doesn't have to be a poem, but maybe have
a really heavy tone or mood if that would help you.

It can be any normal story you would write, but has to rhyme somehow, whether it's
just one part of the story or the whole thing.
It can be about ANYTHING that can somehow relate to Halloween or can be on Halloween.

Story:
Lies are my word
Finding evil
Is quick and easy, like a weevil
First there then not
Unlike I thought
I swore resistance
But I lack consistence
Then I melt like curd

There, that night
A dark closed store
The dark consumed me, more and more
I found a crack
Crawled through the back
I ripped off a tag
From pants that sag
Until they turned on the light

I got away
Through the dark
Across the roads, bare and stark
I wasn't found
Now safe and sound
In my house
Like a hidden louse
A safe place from the noise and fray

It was in all the papers
"Another theft" they would scream
"Find the thief!" and I could dream
Of happy nights
And escaping frights
Where I could steal
My every meal
I loved the thought of future capers

Years went by
The holiday season
Was thieving time, or so was my reason
Valuable stuff
Kites, jeans, and cotton fluff
Every dream and more
And every shop I would "explore"
And I survived with cheats and a lie

Until I realized
This was wrong
For all these years, my lies were long
I had to return every good
And I began to give back everything I could
There were polished gems, and robots that throbbed
And in every shop I had once robbed
Stolen goods materialized

So that's my story
And I've told it best I can
Of a once villain turned good man
I now will give money
To help some poor sonny
Now hear my plea
And don't you see
A gift is much better than stolen glory!

I was hoping for more forms, but even though there was just one,
this Light Collector is going to a good home.
