Your foot is caught on one of the roots and you fall, scattering some candy on the ground.
The next moment you hear happy squeaks and chirps from a bush, and something swarms you... or, to be more exact, they swarm the spilled candy. You only see that there is more than 2 of the creatures, and they all sport a bright yellow-orange-white coat. They happily gobble up the candy, mewing excitedly when they get to a candycorn, and scram before you have a chance to protest."
