Boss: The leader and boss of the thieves guild, a New Guinea singing dog named, ironically, Boss. He demands to be called only that, and nothing else. He rules the guild with an iron paw, especially Swift. He rules over Swift by insulting him and ordering him around, making his power obvious.
Personality: Swift is a rascally clever thief, well, he is whenever he does steal something. He was a major thief when he was a little younger, but during a major score, he died. Or he would've, but just as he started fading away, someone or something used magic to heal him. Ever since then he tried to quit the whole stealing thing, but it's the only thing he's good at, and the boss of the thieves guild he's in won't allow it. So all he out of it was glowing eyes. Despite making excellent one-liners when he's being chased, he tends to be a little too clever for his own good and usually fumbles over his thoughts or says something before thinking it through, but he'll always recover from it, or not notice it.
Relationship with the others:
Mage: *shrug* "using nothing but magic isn't really my forte"
Warrior: "That armor and sword makes 'em so slooow."
Archer: "HA! You should try fighting them melee style, the idiots really freak out."
Battle!:
Swift entered the thieves guild, pulling his hood closer around his head. His score tonight wasn't anything special, and he didn't want
Him wailing on him for it. He had nearly made it out of the main foyer, when he heard "Well if it isn't our 'Starry-eyed Swift'! Got anything worth while today, Goldy?" It was Boss. Swift swore that one of these days he would get himself a luck boost. The few other thieves looked up from their loot or drinks or what ever else they were doing, they knew that a spat between those two was always a sight to behold. Swift sighed and spun around, putting on his best "Hi there! I really hate your guts sir!" grin. "Hello sir, you were just the person I was hoping to see!" Swift cheerfully said with a flourish, "How are you? Good? That's nice. Now I really must be goi-" "Not so fast, Twinkle-Tears. You didn't answer my question." The scarred dog smirked, knowing he had Swift cornered. Swift's smile took on a rather forced quality as he said through clenched teeth "I did just fine with my haul. Sir" He paused before saying the last bit. Boss's smirk never wavered "If you did so good, why don't you show us what you got?" Swift's expression hardened, and for a few long, tense seconds there was silence. Then Swift placed his bag on a nearby table and started removing assorted fruits. Boss burst into laughter, and the other thieves followed suit with chuckles, some seeming rather forced. Swift pulled on his hood to further cover his face as he made for the stairs to the lower dorms, trying his best to ignore the noise behind him. "A child beggar could do this! And still get more! Just because you're some fancy kidambura with fireflies in his head, doesn't mean you're a good thief, Swift!" Swift said nothing as he made his way down the stairs, glaring through the tears welling up in his eyes. Some battles had to be lost.
