[SlGHS]

The cadelornes species is a distinct hybrid mammal from which many genera have decended. They share close characteristics with the Ethiopian wolf, the common equine and are recognised by their single horn, which is similar in structure to that of the hippotragus family. They are an extremely old species who have also had influence on myths and common preconceptions. It's believed creatures such as the unicorn, the quilin and the amarok have all evolved from glimpses of the shy cadelorn, developing into legends we recall today.

Back story;;
A few months back the forest she lived in was caught on fire by some careless humans. She got trapped under a fallen tree. Her eyes were badly damaged before her bigger sister came to save her. Whisper got out alive but her sister gave her life to save her. Her eyesight was pretty bad and it only got worse. Ever since that day she has not uttered a word.

Personality: Nunnally is a kind soul, with a very passionate side. She wants the world to be a fair and gentle place, and bases most of her actions around that belief. She has a habit of talking to herself, and is a very strong-minded Cade.
Back story / Favourite Activity: When she was relatively young she lost her eye sight when she ventured too far into a human area. The humans didn't take kindly to it, they tried to corner her, using extremely bright flashes of light that blinded her after repeated use. She escaped once night fell, returning back to her tiny group of Cadelornes. After her group discovered her blindness, they abandoned her she has been on her own ever since.

Lord Duske, is what he renamed himself, and he only allows his closest friends to call him Duske.
He first seems cold, calculated, and at some times bitter. What can you expect from some one who has been dropped into a world of never-ending blackness. Duske does not trust others very easily so if you would so like to become his friend, then you must prepare for a long, and hard journey. Duske spends his time observing others and somehow shows a scary amount of perception when conversing with that same person. Duske is not very talkative and would rather listen than add in his thoughts, he is quick to anger and when he does that anger is explosive. Underneath his gruff nature, he really is a nice guy who will fight to the death for his friends and family. Duske is loyal till the end.

Back story / Favourite Activity:

Well obviously, a lot had to happen to this young lad to make-up for his rather tragic condition. How had become blind, he forgets, it happened such a long time ago; when everything seemed brighter and in color. When he was a young laurel and had no care in the big world he called home. He was the only laurel to survive his first year and this made his parents very protective, well this and his petite stature. Yes, back then Duske had been a small cadelorn, half the size he should have been. His dark mane inherited from his distant father and so was his personality. Dusk was very easy-going and naive, so he did not understand the dangers outside of the glen his family inhabited.

“Mother, why must I always stay inside the glen?”

“You do not realize the danger outside of our home, young one; so alas you cannot leave.”

The young laurel was confused and frustrated with his dells same answer, he was bored and he needed someone to play with for he so craved conversation. So, one day while his dell and lore were grazing for roots the young laurel wandered away. hoping to get a glimpse of the outside world, when he reached the entrance the air around him felt different, it felt less comforting and this caused him discomfort. Eventually, he scrounged up enough courage to leave the glen and when he did it felt as if a weight was lifted from his shoulders. The laurel released a sound of excitement and began to explore, ears swiveling at all the sounds filling the air around him. He even rubbed the growing nub that was his horn against the trees, as if he was fighting an enemy. He no longer knows how long he spent doing this, but the sun had began its descent in the sky before he realized he was in fact, quite lost. Duske grew frightened, the things that had seemed fun and exciting before grew sinister and wary. With his little heart hammering in his chest, against his ribs he began to run, sounds like branches snapping and bushes rustling only made him run faster. He ran a long time, not caring where he was going only wanting to be home surrounded by the familiar sights of his home. Duske should have been paying attention to where he was going because suddenly he was at a dead end, and the acrid stench of smoke assaulted his sensitive nose. Fire. It surrounded him and attacked his lungs, he had no where to go and no one knew where he was, this thought made his desperate. All he could do was run through the fire and hope he would be okay, so that is what he did. Not knowing the consequences.

For when his family found him the next morning he had been covered in burns and his face was damaged, his eye-lids even had burns, the sight brought tears to his mother's eyes. From then on, Duske had no longer been able to see and there had been some form of blame put on him from that day. Regret, guilt, and darkness became his only friends and he welcomed them.
