What is her goal in life? Why?: Saffron's goal in life is to find a cure to cancer. Recently, Saffron's mother lost her battle with cancer. Saffron has nowhere to go from here. Cancer is a very elusive disease, and can outwit and eventually defeat powerful medications and therapies. It grows and learns from it's mistakes, in the same way a living creature does. But like the great villains of this world, it uses others to grow more powerful and harder to destroy. Saffron hopes to end it's reign of death.
History: Saffron always knew her mother as one of the most social parrapups in California. For as long as Saffy knew her, [which was, keep in mind, not very long] she was always part of the inside circle, always hearing the juiciest gossip before any other parra. Kelli [her real name] met with her ladies nearly every day, dragging Saffy along with her. There Saffy would sit in a corner with some of the other girls and "play," which always meant eavesdropping on the adults.This proved to be quite disappointing, as they mainly talked about things like 'Oh my, Sierra went off with him? Yes, that's what I heard... how's your little Libra baby, Meri? Oh, just fine, how's Saffy? Fine, thanks for asking. No, thank you!' Their voices mashed together into one high-pitched, harmonized sound. Saffron and the others didn't dare to turn around to see who was speaking, lest they be detected, so they had no idea who was speaking. From context, they often figured it out.
Once Saffy heard some interesting gossip about her own father, whom she had never met. 'And he abandoned you? Well, I wouldn't say it like tha- But he did, darling! He just left you, with a clutch on your hands, to fend for yourself! I don't really feel like talking about- But I do! Now Meri, dear, let's not be rude. Fine, Kiki... What was his name, though? MERI! It's all right, Kiki. But his name was Harlan. Oooh... sounds cute. Meri... I'll give you three seconds... All right, all right! Commence with thy storytelling, master Kelli. Well, Harlan had black fur... white hindquarters, brown and white speckles on them. Sounds like Saffy! Yes, she takes after him... But she has your eyes, Kelli. Bright purple. Yes, that's why I named her Saffron... after the purple flowers growing in my garden. Oh, that's clever! Thanks. But Harlan... was just a slimeball. Once I told the son of a yolk-brain that I was expecting a clutch- we'd only been together three months, see- idiot told me he didn't like children- What! Hush, Meri. -And he up and left the next day! I haven't seen him since! And Saffron's never going to know her father! Wow, what a disgusting rat... I'm sorry, Kelli. It's all right, Kiki. I'm just depressed. Can I speak now? Yes, Meri! Have you yolk for brains?' And that was the end of that. Baby Saffron didn't really know what to make of this news, so she simply tucked it away in a corner of her mind. She never questioned her mother about it, for even as a baby, Saffy had more tact than her mother's friend Meri.
A few weeks later, on one spring morning, Saffy found her mother simply lying on the ground outside her nest.
"Mommy?" she had asked tentatively, nudging her. "It's not nap time, it's seed planting time!" Every year, Kelli and Saffy planted Saffron seeds in celebration of Saffron's hatchday... obviously, this would be Saffy's first time participating, and she was greatly looking forward to it.
"Mommy?" asked Saffy. "We gotta celebrate my hatchday! Remember? You promised?" Saffy's bottom lip trembled as she received no response from her mother, who lay cold and lifeless on the ground.
"Mommy?" whispered Saffy, tears brimming up in her eyes. Saffy backed away slowly. She turned, and tiptoed back up to her nest, letting her morning grogginess engulf her.

Tealea has always been looked down upon from other Parrapets because of her short, stubby tail. But no matter her appearance,
Tealea beleives that she can do great things in her life. World-changing things. She beleives that she can make a difference, change lives and make the world a better place- a happy place, a respectful place, a place full of nature-and most importantly, a place with equality- where everyone is considered equal, and where no one is looked down upon despite their differences.
Tealea is not yet sure how she can do this- but she believes she can-as long as she makes the right choses, and lives life to the full.

Personality
Pierre is a bit cocky to be honest, and he thinks he is a "ladies man." Really he isn't very good at flirting, but he has convinced himself that he is fantastic at it. Its actually quite funny to see this little youngster walk up to a full grown female parrapup and look them in the eyes and say-"Hey babe." In fact, his usual response is either a look of confused disgust or a burst of laughter. Pierre is too young to understand love exactly yet, but when he does, you will find that he is terrified of heartbreak but doesn't want anyone to know. Secretly Pierre is quite the poet, but doesn't want to admit it since he thinks he will be made fun of. Pierre is a very pleasant person to be around once you tell him to knock it off with the flirty talk and cocky comments. Truly he just wants to please everyone, and fit in. He absolutely hates it when someone is angered because of his actions, and will try to make it up to them the best he can.
