Deerssert are a mystical, mythological species that appear in history every so often. Sightings grew sparser and sparser through the years, but now they've started to appear more and more. Here at the HQ, a centre dedicated to keeping these creatures from being hunted, we cannot foster them all-- and that's where you come in!

The simplest way to explain them? Deersserts are deer with a twist! While the specifics vary from deer to deer, they all have a few things in common. Deersserts have muscle, skin, fur and bone, but they are described as tasting like sweets. Their scent lingers so much that hides carry a fragrant scent even after death. Instead of fluffy tails, they have a pouf of whipped cream or ice cream [depending on the deer!] with some manner of fruit on top.

Size-wise, they're about the size of a border collie, but have been known to grow to the size of a horse in rare cirucmstances. [In even rarer circumstances, they have gotten bigger. This is the largest deerssert known.] Likewise, they are born as small as a full-grown rabbit, and some never progress past this size.

My first adoptable as a guest artist! So, I tried to make him a bad boy....and completely failed XP.
Anyways, he has a dragon tattoo based on this and this.To win him, tell me that one thing in the universe that brings out his softer side; it could be another deerssert( crush, sister, brother....anyone) or it could be some hobby or passion of his....just be creative. What brings out his softer side:
Jace is serious and cool. Or, at least, that's what most people think. His friend, a white wolf named Crystal, knows otherwise. They were walking through the lighter parts of the forest, talking about everything and nothing. Jace was like a brother to Crystal, other than the fact that she was a wolf, and they were always hanging out. So Crystal knew more about Jace, and was determined to see his soft side. "So I tried to te-" Jace stopped, making Crystal stop as well. Jace's face was one of awe, looking out at the scene. A large lake, bordered with the greenest trees with a shallow carpet of fog covering the floor, and the sun just setting in the distance. "Woah" Crystal breathed, Jace nodding. Just then a loud, hollow sound was heard, calling their attention. A man was seen, cutting down a tree. "Wh-what it he doing!?" Jace's voice cracked, as he ran towards the man, Crystal on his tail. Before the man could make another chop, Jace butted into him, knocking him down. Crystal growled, making the man scramble to his feet and run off. But even then, the tree fell down, breaking other branches in it's path. Jace looked like he was trying to control his emotions as he looked up to see Crystal smirking. "What?" He asked, pretending like it never happened. "I found your soft spooot!" Crystal cooed. Jace sighed, giving up. "It's okay, I won't tell," Crystal smiled, "We should get back." Jace nodded as the started walking home, "Wait! We can come back here, right!?" Crystal chuckled, "Of course." (I decided to make a small little story about
this, hope you don't mind. In short, what makes him soft is the beauty of nature, ot someone abusing nature)

*Secret about Jace: Jace doesn't have any fears at all. Execpt for just one. Oikophobia, the fear of household appliances. Jace once went into house he found, and had a few bad experiences. Things falling, lots of loud noises, the fact that he didn't know what they did, and even a fire! And when Crystal told him that some appliances could explode, it made the fear no better...
*Secret about Jace: Jace is smart. Really smart. Smarter than most of his friends, even. Along with that, he loves science! Crystal, his 'science buddy', and him would sometimes test things with different ingrediants. You know, for science!
*Secret about Jace: See that brown hair atop Jace's head? Well, imagine it the exact same way, but black. Yup, Jace's hair was origionally black! In fact, he got that leather jacket to match his hair. And, as a prank, one of his friends dyed his hair black in his sleep. Of course, Jace freaked out at first! But the he realised that it kinda worked, and has had his hair perminently dyed brown(Don't ask how... deerssert logic!)

Deep within the forest, a lake with small islands which sprouted trees. And this place looked amayzing during most seasons, but Winter was when Jace liked it most. When snow blankets the ground, and frost forms of the trees, making them look like they're made of snow. When the water doesn't freeze, but shows a perfect reflection. Those times might just be Jace's favorite time of the year.
