My username is Ittam. It means to drink in Hungary.


It's very simple actually. You see, I was born and raised in Arizona. It's my state and I love it to death. Every one to two years, my family takes a road trip up to the Grand Canyon. As you probably know, Arizona has many parts of terrain in it. It has deserts, forest and even some tropical areas. I live in the desert region, and boy is it hot in the summer. However, during the winter is pretty cool, and that's usually the time where we go to the Grand Canyon. Let me tell you: WORST. MISTAKE. EVER. It's so gosh darn cold up there. Ugh. But it's fun laughing with your parents as your fingers freeze off. To be blunt, I love this plumie because it's warm colors remind me of all the memories I've made up there and her blue eyes remind me of the Arizona skies that I love so much. I just really love this plumerian, if I could win them I'd be super happy. As such, I am very active in the fanclub and I plan on making a plumerian comic to use her in. If I could win her I would honestly love her forever and she'd be a great companion and character to have.

Her full name is Sonoran Arizonac. You see, the Sororan Desert is a very unique desert. It's the only desert that has the Saguaro Cactus, which is the cactus usually featured in most western films. Her nickname will be Soro, or Ranni, which is really neat because Soro means "sky" (didn't I talk about how much I love the sky) and Ranni for the rainy season is the summer called Monsoon season. I think the name is very symbolic for Arizona. Also, the word Arizonac means small spring in the O'odham Native American language and is the word that the state got it's name from.

Sonoran is a MtF Transgender. She doesn't talk about why she changed other then she feels better this way. Sororan does not tell anyone except people she knows better then her hand and can trust more then she trust herself. Her sexuality is Bisexual and really doesn't mind either gender.

"You want to know my personality? Well. . .okay, but I don't really know why you would want to know a boring plumerian like me. Sonoran, me, is a plumie who will put her foot down if her friends or herself are mistreated. Um, I don't have many friends, but if they were being mistreated I will most certainly stop the offender in their tracks. I'm sorta. . ."out there" interest wise, but I can always come back if what I like isn't up to par. I'm very argumentative, and I usually win whatever I debate in. I guess I can sorta be demanding, ha ha! My friends say I fall in love easily! Pst, as if! No guy is going to whisk me off my feet that easy . . .at least I think so. *ahem* Oh, and. . .people say what I do, which is photography, is incredibly good, but I sorta. . .don't think so. I mean, really. My talents are things anyone can do. Um, let's see. . .I'm really flexible, but with only my body. I never give up on something unless there is a good reason and I'm generally really optimistic! According to people I meet on the street, I'm rather. . .*blushes* attracted and easily accepted. I do not like liars, and I like keeping to the short and condensed truth. However, if you do lie I'm forgive you, as long as you promise not to do it again! And, I think that's it!"

"My hobbies? You mean my hobby, right? I only have one, and it's photography! Ever since I was a little girl, I was always stealing my parents cameras and phones to take pictures of things I found cool! Since then, I have always received a new camera each year for my birthday. By the way, I have a total of 23 different cameras in total. Hm, I wonder how old I am then. Ha ha, anyway, I really enjoy taking pictures of life, but just not nature. I take pictures of the city too. Anything in it's natural element, if you can even count manmade items that. The reason I value cameras so much is. . .I have severe memory loss. I've had it since birth, and my parents were really concerned when I started to forget simple things like my name and who they were. Pictures, however, have been extraordinarily useful and help keep my memory intact. I use my cameras as shopping list, to study things for test in college and most importantly, so memorize friends. After cameras came into my life, my memory has gotten better, but it still needs some work."

What makes this piece special is because I myself went to the Grand Canyon to take them! Like Sonoran, I am also a photographer! I see a lot in her as I do with me. ^^

Calypso is shy and soft hearted, her fatal flaw is her passion for finding love at first sight. She's calm but aggresive when it comes to standing up to someone else. She loves to explore exotic land scapes, and take on unique challenges. Her favourite place in the world is the grand canyon, which she's visited heaps of times. However Calypso is no fan of swimming, though she doesn't mind getting wet. When she's not singing songs, dreaming of true love or travelling, she likes to sit in her favourite spot beside a tree and draw. Calypso also has anxiety, where she always worries about those she loves.

Personality: Phoenix is a pretty mellow, laid back
plumerian. She is sweet to those she cares about most
and somewhat standoff-ish to strangers. You never
know what a person may be like until you get to know
them and that frightens her. She tends to come off
aloof and often hides behind a stoic mask. Similar to
her namesake, Phoenix can get a bit heated. She has a
good stretch of patience, but once her fuse is lit, she
has a fierce temper.

Out hiking one day, Phoenix noticed a rodent following
her. As she moved along the trail, the little critter crept
closer and closer until it was nearly in her shadow. Odd.
Wildlife tends to keep to itself. Trying to ignore her
new found follower, she continued on as normal.

By the time her hike was complete and she was finding
her way off the trail, the squirrel was still at her heels.
Exasperated and perplexed, Phoenix turned to the
creature. "Why on Earth are you following me? Don't you
have someone else to bug?"

At that the squirrel simply tilted its head and blinked
before scurrying closer.

Phoenix's ears twitched, "Go away, bug!"

Instead of having the desired effect, the little thing
scampered right up on to her shoulder, making itself at
home. After spending several minutes trying to bodily
remove the creature from her and then several more
attempting to verbally coax it off, Phoenix accepted
defeat. She wandered home with the squirrel, now
accidentally named, and apparently responding to, Bug.

Bug is highly energetic but loves nothing more than to
ride on Phoenix's back, nestled between her shoulder
blades as she hikes. On particularly long hikes, the steady
motion puts him to sleep. Although she gripes about Bug's
clingy nature, Phoenix has truly come to care for the
little guy. One is rarely found without the other.

When I first saw the new plumerian up for adoption, I was instantly interested because of the simple, neutral palette and design. Upon investigating and discovering that the design was in fact inspired by the Grand Canyon, I was floored. In a heartbeat, I was ready to go all out for this precious plume.

Born and raised in Phoenix, I have come to love the views here. Having spent all but a couple of my twenty-four years in this state, I adore staring at the mountains surrounding the city. In fact, in the few years that I did not live here, I sorely missed the mountainous views, despite the pretty, flat green surroundings of Indiana. I even missed the heat, though it can become quite grueling when the thermometer reads 115° F or more in the shade. While I have only been to the Grand Canyon once on a college trip for a hike, the view is simply breathtaking. Words and pictures sincerely do no justice to the sensation of seeing it firsthand.

After spending an unhealthy amount time on this form, I think I can finally call it complete (assuming I can stop coming back to tweak things)! I'm obsessed. I can safely say that I have fallen head over heels for this darling and her little Bug. <3
