Special Orphaned Twin Adoption
The Story.
The Story.
- Walking through her forest, on her cobblestone path, wet with early morning dew, on her way to her half hidden garden, Falla thought she suddenly heard a noise. Looking around, she didn't see anything. Not at first, but after a moment, she thought she saw movement of sun dappled ground. But it wasn't ground. As she walked closer, she realized the dark browns and reddish-browns she had seen weren't the forest floor, dyed by the sun rise, but rather two tiny bodies. They lay curled up together, sniffling and, as she drew close, the smaller one sneezed, her little body shivering in reaction, despite the warm morning air, as she curled closer to her brother.
Falla was stunned, but she lay down and curled up around the two little ones, trying to warm their tiny bodies. Something poked her tail where she had wrapped it around the little boy's front paws. Lifting her tail a little, she saw a small bit of cardboard underneath the boy's paws. Working it forward, she saw that there was a note written out in hurried handwriting on the cardboard. Yet, between the scrawling hand and a few spelling mistakes, she was able to make out the message:
- Dear Rich Lady,
- Please take care of these to. They deserve so much more
than I can give. There father left me when I told him I was
pregnent and I have no home to give them. I know you
can afford to care for them, so please, PLEASE kind lady,
take them in for me.
Panic flew through Falla. She may have a lot of money, but she was not capable of raising two children all on her own when she was barely an adult herself. Her panic was offset by another sneeze from the little girl. She curled closed to the two babies, a sudden chill passing through her. What if she had not gone to her garden today? Looking down at the two tiny babies, she was sure they'd have died from the exposure. No... their mother had not been capable of caring properly for them if she could not have even thought of that. However, Falla knew that she would do no better for them. The little boy started to move, nuzzling his way through her belly fur, looking for breakfast. Falla's heart raised into her throat. She couldn't care for these two, but she had the resources to find a family that could.

Syra wrote:Some Clarifications and a Little Update
Cross-species adoptive parents (one kiamara and their mate from another species) are allowed
to adopt as long as one of them IS a kiamara.
If your application is using a single adoptive parent, you are allowed to add one person
that is somehow related to that parent (girl/boyfriend, sibling, best friend, ect) into
the relationships part of the form in place of a second parent.
If you have a single parent form where that single parent already has adopted children,
they count as siblings and would be allowed on top of the above modification.
To those who I've let or will let use Lamis in their forms, I would suggest using the extra slot as a relationship to the clan section.
