hello, my username is brother of asgard but i prefer to be called chesh or josephine. first of all, i took interest in this hyena simply because she is the first remotely looking female hyena i've seen since the line changes. i absolutely adore her hair and the end of her paws. they remind me of the glowing water in life of pi, hence the gif at the top. at first, i wanted to name her after the glowing water but in the end, the personality of her within my mind built up to something far more powerful than to be simply after a name. so naturally i turned to one of the four languages i like to name my characters after; japanese. immediately, i thought of her as a princess or something so utterly regal that her name would have to be based around that in some way. and since i had made her element water, i combined both words to create water princess and simply translated it into a name. as a nickname she is called mizu which is pretty much the word water in japanense.
anyway, mizuinzei is a youthful, beautiful hyena who adores life and all the wonders it holds. she has a love for sea creatures and is commonly found diving deep down to spend her time with them. this would also explain her rather large crush on the hyena #111. she adores their shark-like mutations and fins herself staring at them for longer than is considered normal.
considerate and polite, mizuinzei is always aware of other hyena's emotions and hates to see them upset. it makes her quite loud and determined to cheer them up. this may vary from doing little silly dances to putting on water shows to simply sitting with them and talking the situation out. mizuinzei is very sensitive herself and her emotions can get hurt easily if someone says something harsh to her. she will stand up for herself though sometimes there is only so much a hyena can do on her own. that is why she cherishes her friends so fiercely and will never let them down if she can help. mizu is also very wary at who she gives her trust to.
she doesn't want to be simply cast out as an old friend, mizu wants a life long companion who will be there for her and in turn, she will do the same.
her name suggests that she is royal though really, mizu isn't. but she is so very in touch with her water element and so very caring of sea life that the creatures in the water do think she lives up to her name.
