First IntroductionsA lavender shaded little critter padded its way over to you. She stopped just outside touching distance and studied my movements, inquisitively she tilted her head slightly observing me. I could see the intelligence behind the eyes of this little girl.
βI see you have already meet on of our adoption candidatesβ a woman followed out from behind the Inkling. βof course we donβt generally let the others out until they have been documented and put on the adoption floorβ she smiled as the lavender inkling walked over the her side and nuzzled her hand. Are you her to look around or are you looking to adopt an inkling?β
βIβd like to learn a little more but yes Iβd love to adopt one.β I replied
Her Name Is AllyβFollow me please, Iβll show you aroundβ.
I followed this adoption coordinator in to the factory
where the inkling where living. The little Critter plodded
after her as well keeping in step without hesitation.
βThis is Ally, she is one of our purple division inklings.
She is very friendly and unafraid of new people,
so we decided to put her up for adoption. She has a
lot of energy, and needs to be with a person that is
ready for the commitment of her care taking. She will
need to experience the world outside of these walls.
As you can see this is a very poor environment for these
creative little critters we have come to call inklings. They
are very intelligent and understand people very well.
They donβt see to speak at all that we have seen but they
pick up on gestures and imitate them. However Ally is
rather rambunctious and bark yips and chatters a lot.
She also has a tendency to steal the staffβs sweets. She
has quite the sweet tooth and will nick them from you if
you give her the opportunity to do so. Some genital
teaching is needed to curb this is all. Dose she sound
like one you would be interested in?β
Ally had curled by my seat and dozed off snoring lightly,
I looked back up to the Coordinator. βYes. Very much
soβ Allyβs ears perked up and she leaped up into my lap
renewed from her powernap.

About me βTell me why we should consider you as a
foster parent for Ally if you could pleaseβ
βI am very active person but very patient,β I started.
β I love to be outside, I live in a urban area full of
people and go to the parks nearby. My dogs love going
for walks at the lake and I let them run for a bit to tire
themselves out. I spend my free time outside with my
family, we have a lot of barbeques in the summer and
do a lot of camping. I participate in school sports and
activities, which Ally would have plenty of opportunities
to meet new people. I am a college students working
hard to maintain my good grades. I am a happy go lucky
person and rally get mad or frustrated. I do get stressed
out by work and like to draw and write as stress relief.
Iβm not very good a drawing though, but I donβt think you
have to be good at something to enjoy it. I like to go to the
mall and movies on the weekends and eat out a lot with
my friends. Shopping is something I prefer to do with finds
and as an acting student keeping up on movies is a must.
Iβd like Ally to come home with me so that I can introduce to
all the people the world has to offer her and give her plenty
of opportunities to grow in experience. I know she would
have a lot of fun with me.
βIt sounds like you would make a good parent for her,
Iβll send her home under observation with you to see
how well she and you adapt.

Some Laffy-Taffy Fun.
Ally followed me calmly after our morning run. I had promised her that with good behavior we would go to the candy store and she could get whatever she wanted. Ally had been adjusting extremely well to loving at home with me, she was also falling in love with the cat and even let the cat sleep in her bed. The Candy store I had taken her to was the largest in town. It was overburden most days with people.
βPick whatever you wantβ I say to Ally, who's eyes were wide looking at all the candy the store had.β
I walk over to the '
fill you bag candy bar'. βYou can taste these oneβs here,β Ally walked over and I could see the drool on her lips, I lifted up the lid and pulled out a Swedish fish and handed it to her. She gobbled it up, I thought she might choke on it with how fast she ate it. I giggled as I asked her, βDid you even taste it?β Ally continued to taste the candies down the bar, I noticed that she like to eat the chewy candies quickly, she practically inhaled them, she could not help herself as she like them so much, she nodded every so often at the hard candies she sucked on in her mouth. At last she had tried all she could.

βHere is a bag you can fill up with the use you liked, pick whichever you liked best.β She took the bag and began to fill the bag up, mostly with hard candy and a few laffy-taffy here and there. I had an idea noticing that she really enjoyed the hard candied as she filled the bag. I walked down the aisle with Ally right behind me. βThese are jaw breakersβ Allyβs eyes widened at the size of the largest one they had. βI never finish the big ones, but I know you would Iβll get on for it as long as you donβt make a mess with it.β Ally nodded instantly grabbing the largest one she could reach.
I had turned around for just a moment to grab a huge toffee bar, when i heard a loud clatter behind me, Ally had gone over to a vintage bubble gum machine and some how knocked it over. she looked at me with a sad expression. I could tell she was trying to apologize. at this time the store owner had walked over to see what the sound was. The machine's top had popped off letting out a flurry of gumballs room roll and fly across the store. The store manager looked at me and I mouthed that I would pay for the candy, he nodded, goodhearted Billy was always very kind to his customers. He squatted next to Ally who looked about to cry," now there little one, did you mean to knock that over?" Ally shook her head. She pointed up to a huge jawbreaker that was on a higher self. "You wanted that jaw breaker, did you?" Ally nodded. Bob stood up and grabbed down the soft-ball sized and knelt back down to meet her. "Here you go, next time all you need to do is ask, we don't want you to hurt yourself." Billy smiled and patted her gentle on the head. As the manager began to turn and walk away Ally ran to hug his legs." Billy turned again and patted Ally on her head and went back to his work.
With her paws full Ally and I walked walked to the checkout.
βWell who is this cutie?β asked the clerk.
βThis is Ally, an inkling that I of fostering.β
βShe is so endearing, and quite a sweet tooth she has there by the look of that bag.β
βShe does love candy but that only a little part of her character that I am learning aboutβ I replied as Ally took her bag of candy and jawbreaker
As we buckled up in my car Ally began digging through her bag of candy pulling out all the laffy-taffy she had grabbed. βNot in the car Ally, I donβt want you to lose any.β Ally shook her head, looking at me with a penetratingly sweet smile, she extended her paw to be full of the laffy-taffy candy. βFor me?β I asked. Ally nodded. I could not help but smile laffy-taffy was my favorite candy.
