Piefan, nicknamed simply 'Pie'. I'm also known as 'Pi' by that one person.

Gust shall be a male.

Personality
A rough, somewhat aggresive Lapwing, Gust has a fitting name. He flies perfectly and quickly (when he needs to, that is), almost as if a gust of wind is blowing him in the right direction. He frequently uses sarcasm as a habit of his, he doesn't mean to be rude - speaking like that is part of his nature. He seldom means to be rude at all, if he's angry, he just speaks his mind or gets physical. It's usually the former.

Gust is also modest and stubborn, refusing to give up until it's clear he needs to, and even then he strives a little more. He values privacy and respects others'. Looks don't matter to him, and he would be friends with the ugliest of creatures.

3, almost 4. [For this part, I referred to the main page - it stated that Lapwings put on rings as they age, and he has 4, which would make him 3.]

History
Gust was born in a forest. He was a happy and healthy baby, growing up with near perfect health. He had fevers occasionally, but those were far and in between. His parents were happy for him, though they had always wondered - why did he hate socializing so much? He stayed with his family, loving them and so on, and he was most certainly not shy, when he wanted to, he could interact with others, fighting and chatting. He simply did not want to talk. There were friendly critters around him, who would be happy to be friends with him, but he refused.

He was not arrogant. He simply felt that people animals would have to earn his friendship. Not speak one word to him and declare them best friends. They would have to do something that made them deserving. It wasn't that he thought himself so special that everyone had to kneel before him to get respect, but basically his train of thought was this - friends are supposed to be special -> they wouldn't be special if he became friends with everybody -> they had to do something for them to become friends.

Story (Not quite a story, just a scene of hanging around with nature)
The wind blew. Gust flew with it. He would be bored if not for his wings. He loved them, they carried him on when his legs failed him, and they were always there. They would never abandon him. So he flew to put them to good use. Why have wings if he did not fly?

Finally the Lapwing landed. The air was amazing, but more greeted him on the ground. It was hard to decide which was better - the sky or the ground. The air had birds, beautiful clouds, and when he came to land, he encountered beautiful things, plants and animals alike.

They were both equal, he decided as a robin flew through the air before promptly landing on a tree branch.

Thank you very much for considering me. I actually did research on bluejays to base his personality off, and found that they're aggresive and bold, so there you go. Although I did my best to check for grammar mistakes, I may have missed some - note that I'm a kid typing this out on a tablet.

I had to assume things for the history to flow, and so I assumed that Lapwings could speak to other creatures. *shrug*
