Lin mainly inhabits the rainforest she was born in, though she
does take trips up north to hunt during the summer if prey is
scarce.She was born in the middle of a tropical storm. Her mother
attempted to take shelter in a cave, but was smashed up against the
rocks by gale force winds, dying by sunrise, thus her fear of caves.
She was raised by her notoriously introverted and aggressive former
warrior father, who taught her more about how to hold her own in
a fight and navigate in any weather or terrain rather than social
skills. Due to this she's rather awkward when she actually has to talk
to someone, but wins most of the daring games played by other cocky young
bat-dragons. Despite this she actually loves to talk, and has a secret affinity for
love stories, though she denies it. She's torn her wing multiple times
while diving the sheer cliffs on the border of the stormy northern sea,
and often returns to her nest covered in blood or grime. She's rather fond of
chasing mammalian prey, but when it comes to killing it she tends to get
a bit emotional, and thus sticks to collecting fruit and scavenging already
dead creatures from the forest floor.In her tropical area, her colony
prefers to roost in trees as they offer more protection from the
frequent tropical storms that ravage the land.
