Black: Death, in the most general sense. The first colour that comes to mind for most. Black symbolizes darkness, sadness, and emptiness. This is the colour worn at funerals and is commonly associated with mourning.

Black: From what I've learned from art class; I'd say because black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum; they absorb all such frequencies of light. Although black is sometimes described as an "achromatic", or hueless (Hue actually means color), in practice it can be considered a color, as in expressions like "black cat" or "black paint". (Though I find black cats adorable. <3) Anyway, that's why it's associated with evil; you can't see what's lurking in the dark. (Ravens are often associated with this.)
White: I heard that seeing a white horse in a dream is said to be presentiment of death, and that it's suppose to be a sign for morning (China, I think..?). I know it's said that if you see a Mourning Dove sit upon the power lines in your house that it's going to mean a death to someone you know; though I've also seen white being apart of innocence and purity as well. I'm sure it can represent both though.
Blue: I'm not sure, so I cheated on Google. (I'm sorry!) This is what I found: "Blue has its counterpart in those who corrupt God's ways and usurp His divine symbols for evil worship of false gods." Though I would personally say because it is a very vivid/bright color. At least I think that's how it works in the animal world that way too. Take these guys as an example. You don't want to eat them, or you'll get a mouth full of poison!
