Username:
Heyho~ I'm ThunderStarStorm AKA Nari. This beaut is the third MWK I'm trying for. ^u^Name:
Yo! The name's Calor Ardor! Feel free to call me Zeal though, that's cool. I sign most of my murals this way, so I do not mind.
Calor Ardor; The words are Portuguese in origin, much like this Kit's strong accent.Name Origin:
Ah, is simple. My old name was boring, so I traded. Calor sounds much cooler, no?
Both Calor and Ardor are Portugese words for 'Glow', although Calor is more apt to Fervour or Zeal, and Ardor is Heat or Glow, both are linked to this kit's love of Phosphorescence - aka, glow sticks. He chose the names for himself after realising that his old name of 'Sebastian' really wasn't cutting it anymore.Gender:
Haha, you need your eyes checked, ese! I'm a guy, through and through, capeche?
Male, yes, and quite proud of the fact to.
Personality:
Ardor is cool; it’s the easiest way to describe this kit, and what most of the people he hangs around will describe him as. “Calor? Yeah, he’s cool.”
His laid-back, friendly personality makes him a hit amongst those he chooses to befriend, and his general love of people and others makes him a huge sweet heart, for all that people claim his hair makes him look like a punk.
Don’t insult the hair. He likes the hair.
Ardor spends a lot of time running the streets of Porto, alleyways his home and a welcoming escape, and although he’s gotten chased by the cops for it, he can’t help but decorate the walls in bright phosphorescent spray paint. It’s a bad habit, but one he loves. His art skills have improved tremendously since he started, and the kit oft adores decorating walls in glowing birds, multi-coloured waterfalls and other glowing artwork.
His frequent spots are street alleys and night clubs and he loves to hang around and chatter off the ear of any unsuspecting tourist, especially if they make an interest towards learning Portuguese, his language. Even though he speaks both English and Portuguese, Portuguese is his first language and he both will never give up the accent or his habit of using Portuguese words in an English conversation.
His easily excitable nature makes him a hoot when it comes to parties, and he’s usually the life of it, taking all the chances and jumping ahead without looking to see if anything is down the bottom. “Look before you leap” has never applied to this impulsive Kit; that’s where Zeal comes into play, honestly.
It takes a lot to insult the thick skinned Calor, especially considering he’s a bit of an air-head, but he loves to go along with other people, and as such his moral compass can be a bit skewed. It’s not that he’s genuinely a bad person, and if he recognises what he’s doing as wrong he’ll stop, but Ardor is primarily a thrill-seeking, person-loving kit. He doesn’t recognise what he does as wrong if it’s fun.
The worst thing you can do to him is take away his relationships and isolate him from others. That’d just drive him mad, especially with how much he likes to talk. Chitter-chatter chitter-chatter in your ear, the only time the Portuguese kit shuts his trap is as the sun rises; no matter what he’s doing, (well, unless he’s being chased by the cops again for spray painting a building,) he’ll stop and enjoy the sunrise. It tells him that another day has come, the sun has risen again and there’s a new day ahead for him to explore and live through.
Plus, if he dies that day, he wants to be able to remember the glow of the sunrise on the horizon.
Favourite Song:
You want me to pick just one?! What kind of monster are you! -overdramatically wails- ahh, I suppose if you really really want me to...Game Over, then. Nice beat, good techno; and the lyrics are just amusing to no end, eh?

Interviews with Calor Ardor
So, I know you've told us your name - how about some words you'd use to describe yourself?Calor wrote:Ah, signorita; do you want me to be truthful or a liar? I am good at both. Truth is the best though. Mischievous? Friendly? Out-going? Shame-less? I do not know; it is difficult to describe things about your self, si?
Would you rather be stuck in the middle of a festival or by yourself?Calor wrote:Stuck in a festival? Princess, there is no such thing! A festival is a time of celebration and friends; you can party and watch the fire works and the glow sticks; ah, I would pick a festival, definitely!
What's your favourite colour?Calor wrote:No no no, I cannot chose! You cannot expect me to chose just a singular one; there are to many colours out there, and all have their brilliance. Vibrant red for roses against the cobblestones, glowing green for cat's eyes on the alley way at night, stunning yellow and pinks for sunrise, I refuse to chose a singular colour!
You paint murals on the walls of Porto, yes? Why do you pant them with phosphorescent paint?Calor wrote:Haha signorita, -winks- maybe you are trying to trick me into answering if I paint. Perhaps the cops have sent you to arrest Zeal? It will take much more than that to catch he who decorates the drab nights with stars!磷光 //Chinese Phosphorescence;
Adjective. Energy absorbed by a substance that is then released slowly in the form of non-burning light
