"Hiroko says I should say a little more about myself, there isn't much to me, I'm pretty simple, and go with the flow. ..Well, if your still looking for more, then some simpler traits are that I am creative, I always can find a way to make something even better then it already is, always improving.
Practical, I can make inventions out of common household items, I guess that also ties into creativity.
According to Fern, I am very serious, except when creating, it is my passion, she says. Fern also says when I get into something, I seem different, not serious at all, but excited, and full of energy, I'm not sure of how much of that is true, but I think it's a compliment. ;)
I think that's pretty much it about me. I'm not in to talking much, so I think i'll be done explaining my personality."

►Favorite thing to do with Dragon:

"We love to do anything together, we're pretty much an inseparable pair. One of our favorite things though, is origami. She was the one who taught me how to make a swan when we first met, and after that, I'm always fiddling with paper, I've figured out a lot of my own creations, Fern and I love to share our ideas with each other. It's how we connect, She is my best friend, and I am hers.
I remember the day she had taught me, It was right as spring began. I was climbing a tree, alone, enjoying the quiet when a head popped out from between the buds on the tree. Fern's. She startled me, "Oh, s-sorry, didn't think anyone was here." She started, I quickly cut her off, her presence was surprisingly comforting. "Oh, no. You can stay." I mumbled shyly, it was then that she showed me origami, I could sense she was different, understanding, truthful, and she believed in me . Now Fern is blushing from this generous description of her. And of course, after that we become immediate friends. Although, I should get going, hope you enjoyed talking to me."

Soft spoken-

Měi-Lián is very soft spoken. She prefers to keep everything to herself in fear of offending someone or saying something she might regret later. Despite this, she is very opinionated but you'd never hear it unless you were asking for a beating. Měi-Lián thinks before speaking and speaks only when she feels the need.

Měi-Lián sees much of the world as a dangerous place. She believes that caution is a virtue and one can never be too safe. Any courage or boldness she musters comes from the comfort of Ān by her side. She rarely goes anywhere without him and only feels ready to exit her comfort zone when Ān is there to help her.

Měi-Lián finds herself enjoying the idea of being stuck in her home, working with Ān, than travel the world or living in the high life. She enjoys the outdoors but finds it hard to stay out for more than a couple hours at a time. Měi-Lián doesn't mind being mostly alone though. She finds joys in her work and being in the company of her dragon.

Perfectionist-

Měi-Lián hates being a perfectionist, but like a bad habit, she can't keep from making things the best she can make them. Name was raised believing that nothing but perfection was acceptable. Now, she pours everything into her work, still loving by the motto of "nothing but the best".

Stubborn-

Měi-Lián has much of a stubborn streak. She's very stuck in her ways and her opinions (even if she doesn't voice them so often). When pushed to the edge, she'll put her temperament behind her and let whoever know they're wrong. She's not ready to have others tell her what to do and will give her all to make sure they won't.

Diligent-

Ān is very keen to focusing on a job and getting the job done. He, much like Měi-Lián, is a hard worker and detected to anything he sets his mind to (even if they're not always right).

Ān's life is completely invested in Měi-Lián. They are one together and will continue to be until death they part. Ān would go to the end of the world and back if it meant Měi-Lián's safety.

Gentle-

Ān is gentle and understanding with Měi-Lián, despite her rather hard-to-deal-with personality. He lets her be herself, and carefully encourages her when she starts to stress.

Favorite thing to do with Dragon: Lanterns yay!

Měi-Lián looked into the damp sky as the cold, February air soon began to nip her fur. The soft grass rolled across the rugged Hunan uplands. It was dreary like most other days, but tonight would be different. Tonight was Yuán Xião, otherwise known as the Lantern Festival. Měi-Lián looked back down at the flat paper at her feet. Making lanterns was a family business, and she had been making them for years. Her father's standards were only perfection. This meant it took a steady hand and a lot of time to finish just one lantern. But the fact that her lanterns were part of the festival made it all worth while. Tonight, hundreds of lanterns would be released into the dark air to illuminate the night sky like second stars. Ān's purr suddenly snapped her attention back again. Měi-Lián smiled and shook her head, returning to her work, and ready for the night.

Měi-Lián slowly walked back to her working pagoda with Ān riding on her back. The smell of tāngyuán and sweet red bean paste filled the air as families returned home to spend the night in togetherness. Lanterns long gone lit speckles through the night sky. The Festival was done and the lanterns were drifting farther and farther into blackness. Měi-Lián smiled and purred at a job well done. The cat's pale eyes turned to the dragon as she spoke. "Well, Ān, we're done with this year. Tomorrow, we'll start the lanterns for next year."
