Two souls linked like that of chain-mail,
Strong enough to repel any incoming attack.
But weak enough to move fluidly,
To protect that bond most creatures lack.
There through the hardships,
There through the pain
These two souls shall never
be separate again.
It is an understatement to call this a friendship,
For friends can come and go.
And these souls will stick together,
Weather someone says 'yes' or 'no'.
They protect each other with their lives,
And they try with all their might,
To make sure no one comes between them,
Looking for a fight.
And if someone does try
To split these two apart,
They'll soon stop, stand back, and realise
These two are bonded from the heart.
And a bond like that cannot be broken
Not by bronze, silver, or steel.
And only then they see
That the bond between them was real.
