What Is Serenity Shelter?
Serenity is a dog rescue. We rescue dogs of all kinds and rehabilitate them to be able to be adopted. Not all dogs have a nice past, such as just being given up to the shelter because their owners couldn't afford to care for them. Some are abandoned. Some were left for dead. But each one is special, and each one is full of love and ready to share it. We give the dogs the best care we can provide, but nothing beats a home that they can call their own. So are you ready to adopt?

So apparently I can't draw borzois. hurr.

-This girl was brought here by her owners for her chewing habits. She destroyed their tables, couches, rugs, and even tore off a chunk of drywall in an attempt to escape the small spare bedroom they kept her in as a puppy. She had never learned any different so we've trained her and she's ready for adoption!

And I love borzois. It all started when I was 16, and I got my first job in a kennel. I worked there for over a year and saw countless dogs come and go. When you're at a place like that, seeing so many different dogs, there are some that stick out in your memory. One of those for me was a borzoi named Brando. He was so tall and so clumsy, because he didn't seem to know what to do with his long limbs. However, when I took him outside and he started to run, he transformed into such a graceful dog. Ever since I met him all those years ago, I've been extremely partial to the breed.

Still just a puppy, Zhanna's personality is still growing and developing. She is a quiet puppy and doesn't have excessive energy. She enjoys cuddling up on the couch more than anything. Actually, her favorite thing to do is sit in a chair in front of the window and watch the world pass by her house. When she gets bored, she prefers entertaining herself rather than playing with humans or other dogs, which is where her chewing problem came from. When given a lot of toys, though, her chewing problem is quite manageable, although sometimes she pulls the stuffing out of her dog bed or pillows that she is allowed to lay on. She does well with children and other animals because she is very gentle and calm. In fact, having another dog to distract her is a good way to keep her from chewing things up.

Zhanna loves these long, plushy dog toys. She goes through them pretty fast, and so they constantly get replaced with the same kind of toy in different colors and patterns. She always carries one of these with her wherever she goes.

Meet Jazz. Awestruck by her beauty and breed, I have decided to try out for her. I have included some extra's such as her favourite treat, what she likes to do on weekends and also a short personality. Here goes...

Jazz is a rather greedy canine and she definitely has a favourite treat. She gets it on her birthday every year, along with a toy or something. It is, basically, a cocktail sausage wrapped in another meat like bacon. She has 3 sprinkled with cheese and doggy treats, and scoffs them down with extreme speed!
Jazz loves woodland walks and on the weekend she just loves to go scuttling around the forest, sneaking around tree's and dashing into muddy puddles with glee. Her average Saturday goes...
