A Koidyr is an Akita dog with webbed legs for swimming and gliding through the water. They are most times timid at the first meeting, but will warm up to anyone quickly. They have a patch of venom on their face to protect them from predators. This patch is always a neutral color, such as black, white, or gray. They are omnivores, and eat anything from wild berries to small rodents. Can you win a Koidyr's heart?

This little girls name is Lyra.
The name Lyra is actually that of a small constellation.
In the past, Lyra was often represented on star maps as a vulture or an eagle carrying a lyre, either enclosed in its wings, or in its beak. Though I don't see this baby as an eagle she does however remind me of the beautiful night sky near the morning, so I decided to name her after a star.
The name Lyra also means of the Iyre Song in French and Lyre (medeival instrument) Lyrical in Greek.
