As young juveniles Jinxx an his friends noticed beautiful glows up in the tree tops. They had hear stories about Nightstars and how difficult it was to get them but how good they tasted. The closest were at the top of a particularly tall tree and Jinxx's group wanted to get to them. His friends, of you could call them than, began teasing him, telling him there was no way he could get to the berries. Jinxx had always been rather small and his size was of course associated with weakness. Determined to prove his friends wrong Jinxx began climbing the tall tree. With high amounts of difficulty Jinxx managed to get to the top of that tree and get the Nightstar. It is because of this moment that he loves the berries. Yes, of course he loves them because of their wonderful taste more so he loves them because they taught him that he could do anything of he set his mind to it.

Bloodberries. Though most believe these berries to bring bad luck upon the consumer, Jaye is not at all a superstitious Fleet-footed dragon. She lives in the swamps where these berries are most common, and though fighting the thorns to get through to them can be a struggle, she feels like she has a point to prove; that the berries bring no more bad luck than any other. However, Jaye always seems to have bad luck, so her point never really has been proven. But, being the stubborn dragon she is, she still eats them despite their bad aftertaste. She does, at least, find their initial flavor to be good-- a sour, slightly bitter taste that she has grown accustomed to.

Nightstars, because this Fleet-Foot is always active at night, a highly nocturnal creature, maybe because of his inability to sleep. He suffers from insomnia, and these berries, since they glow, are super easy for him to see, find and enjoy! He also has quite the sweet tooth so this fits him just fine!
