And an extra: "Nell and her sister Mapel were sitting in the dark. Yes, cats can see better than humans, but they can't really see in the dark if there isn't at least a hint of light, and there wasn't. Mapel was shivering, and her shivering was the only reasons that Nell kept calm. She knew if she showed how scared she was, Mapel would panic. And if they wanted to get safely out of this, panic was the last thing they needed. "Where are we?", Mapel whispered, and Nell smiled a bit because Mapel never talked before she panicked. This was a good sign, she was okay for now. "I can't remember" Nell whispered back "I mean, I know this is a box, where the box goes, I don't know." Mister Martin had closed the box in such a way that Mapel and her couldn't get out of it, even if they threw their bodies agains the opening slot. Now the sisters were still. Mister Martin had put them somewhere where they could hear the muffled sound of human talk. "Why did mama let him take us away? I want to go home!" Mapel whined. Nell licked her cheek and tied to explain it to her. "Mama said this is our new home. She had another home, too, before Misses Dutchell took her, and Papa too." Mama had told them all the stories about being a kitten and being brought to a new home, but they hadn't believed in them. Now they knew the stories were true. Suddenly, they heard young human yelling and approaching and making shaking sounds, as if there were other boxes. "Nell" Maple hissed, and suddenly their box was picked up and placed somewhere else. Somebody, the young human whos voice they heard, was pulling an the box, they heard a rustling sound, and then, the box was opened. The human squeeked, and Mapel and Nell made themselves as small as possible, but the human grabbed them and held them tight against it's chest. Then, to Nell's surprise, the human let them down to the floor, and Mapel and her rushed to hide under the big tree that was obviously standing in a living room. Thy crowched there fo a while. "Since when do trees grow in houses?" Mapel asked. But Nell had no idea."
