What is a Koidyr?
A Koidyr is an Akita dog with webbed legs for swimming and gliding through the water. They are most times timid at the first meeting, but will warm up to anyone quickly. They have a patch of venom on their face to protect them from predators. This patch is always a neutral color, such as black, white, or gray. They are omnivores, and eat anything from wild berries to small rodents. Can you win a Koidyr's heart?

Calypso has been on the sea for as long as she can remember. She is loyal to the extreme, once putting her life on the line to save many of her fellows when the pirate ship she served on sank. That is how she received her anchor charm, secured to her wrist with a scrap of rope from the old ship. She is hard-headed and can "give as good as she gets," whether it be competitions of wit, insult contests,regular fights, or the like. However, under her hard exterior, she has doubts; she never knew her parents, being adopted at a very young age by the pirates, and she fears rejection. Overall, she is a rough-and-tumble, loyal koidyr, hiding her insecurities.

Cammy is a shy, quiet little girl with a knack for sticking to her morals. She always follows the rules, and follows instructions without objection. She enjoys being right, so she's very intelligent. She enjoys reading, and always has numerous books at hand at a time, reading every one word-for-word. Cammy has an eidetic memory, meaning she can recall perfectly anything she's ever heard, read, seen, felt, or thought. Her memory is like a tape, recording everything, and she is able to access it at any time. This causes her to be a little socially awkward, but she's a real brainiac still. Every night before bed, she goes back and revisits her favorite memory of all; the beach. She only went once, but it was the most incredible thing she had ever seen, and now, through endless studies, knows just about everything there is to know about the ocean. She wears her anchor bracelet to remind her of her favorite place when she's having a bad day.

quirks and phobias::
Chameille may seem somewhat normal, but she has her odd traits. She's deathly afraid of deserts, for a place devoid of water just seems horrible to her. When she eats, she eats everything one at a time, never mixing foods. She always has to be wearing her bracelet, or else she gets very anxious. Finally, There always has to be one light on somewhere in the house when she goes to sleep, no matter where it is lit.
