An Astraline is a celestial being. They take on the form of a canine most resembling a fox or domesticated dog. Instead of a tail, they have a star. The older they get, the bigger the star gets and brighter the nebulae it produces. A few more distinguishing features are a bright, nebulaeic mane and a characteristic star marking on their foreheads. Astralines are typically always bright in color. Their nebulae is generally two or more colors, pulsating and intertwining at all times. They are generally peaceful creatures, but if provoked, no one truly knows their powers to the fullest extent.

"Mom, I'm flying! I'm flying!" A bright voice rang through the air. In a little home-made cardboard-box-aeroplane sat a young girl, waving her paws about excitedly, beaming at an older Astraline. The girl was small, with large blue eyes and a grin that seemed to glow as bright as her stars. On her head, half-covering a blue star, was an old, rusty pair of silver aviation goggles. It was in an awkward position, lopsided, and almost falling off her head. One of the lenses was cracked; the whole thing was covered in scratches and scrapes where they'd been affected by her playing. Far too big for her, it kept slipping and sliding around on her head as she leaned left and right, hopping around in what little space she had, making big gestures to make up for her small size. "Mom, look at me, mom!" She turned her head and lost her balance, toppling over onto the ground. Her mother rushed to her side, but she sat up, the goggles tangled up in her hands, laughing. "I did it, mom! I flew!"
