Your Name: "Name is Volcan. I guess you can see why I was named like that. If you are blind, or just too lazy to look a me, I was named like that because of my markings. Stunner, ha
"
Your Rider: "Her name is Volania. Oh, surprises surprises. Why was she named like that? Don't ask me, ask her! Her form is below so um...yeah"

Name: "Name is Volcania. It ain't my real name, but I like to call myself Volcania. My real name is Samantha, but I don't like it. Please only call me Volcania."
Gender: "I'm a girl. Duh!"
Age: "Lets say I am older than 15 but younger that 20"
Looks: "How I look? I'm like any other girl you would see around here. But if you want more description..I have a lightly tanned skin. My hair is pitch black while eyes an icey blue. Some people say they get freaked out when they look into my eyes, but meh, I can't do anything about it. I dress in dark red and black, I hate very bright colors despite my eyes. I wear pretty much anything I can find, but they just must be red or black.

Your Rider's Tribe: "We are proud members of the Mat'huen tribe"

Are you in training?: "If my rider does capture me, then training me is on the top of her To-Do list! She can't wait to saddle me, actually."

Captain Canada, pleasure meeting you. Call me Canada, it's much simpler than Captain Canada :)
Image
Blaise. Homonym of Blaze, which means fire... I thought that the his markings seemed like fire, so that's what I did!
It just fits him, I think. Even though it seems as if his markings are like lava, I thought they were better as drops of liquid flame. (Those are the same though, right? Nope, not at all, they're quite different, in my world view.)

Image
Naida, meaning water nymph. I chose this name because I found it entertaining the whole 'fire and water' rivalery.
L O O K S
Hair Color/Length
A soft caramel-ish color that in the sun gets red highlights. Her hair tends to get a little more golden/red in the summer, and tends to be a bit more brown within the winter. It goes to her shoulders, it's often in a ponytail or in pigtail braids.
Eye Color
Naida's eyes are bizarre, because her eyes are two different colors. Her right one is a sort of grey-ish blue, and her left one is a more pure blue. They sparkle constantly because of her ability to laugh at everything.
Build
Naida's about average height, considering. I'd say she's about five foot five, five foot six. Somewhere around there. She's also slim, making her an average/skinny build. She's stronger than she looks-by far.
Skin Color
Naida's skin is tan, and she has freckles dusted lightly over her perfectly straight nose.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Rash
Naida's a rather rash thinker, sadly. She tends to jump headfirst into ordeals, even though she knows that it'll lead to problems. No one really knows why she doesn't use her brain more often.
Curious
Ever heard the term "Curiosity killed the cat?" Well, this applies very strongly to her. She's come to near-death situations because of her curiosity sometimes. She can get really, really curious.
Energetic
Naida can get really, really energetic and hyper, especially after finding something sparkly. She kind of has an obsession with sparkly things. She talks really quickly and will often stumble in speech, or she'll be hopping from one foot to another while speaking, or doing something.
Easily Distracted
She's easily distracted from the task at hand and will get quickly lost down a pathway that she finds interesting. It usually can take a lot to get her back on track.
Loyal
Naida's really, really loyal to her friends, family, everyone in general. She tends to put herself last, encouraging others to try something before her. She'll protect her friends and family with her life if need be.
Kind
Naida's nice, it's as simple as that. She's even nice to those that seem to hate her. Why? No one really knows. It's just in her blood, I guess. She's always been equally kind to everyone.
Quick-thinking
In times of extreme pressure, she can think really quickly and intelligently, which can surprise many, many people. In these situations, she takes charge and seems like a leader. In other times... Nah, whatever.

Image
Our darling Naida belongs to the Mat'era. She's strong and a leader (in certain situations), but she does get easily distracted and wanders from territory to territory by accident. She just doesn't realize she's crossing the border until someone with the wrong colors tries to attack her... Run Naida, Run!
Image
Ze pen is more powerful zhan ze svord! I love to write, so since I will train him (why wouldn't I? He's a beauty!) through the writing of stories..
Image
Naida's different colored eyes wandered around. She wasn't paying very much attention as she hunted for rabbits. Mm, rabbits. Naida loved rabbits, in fact, she loved them so much she would hunt them down specially. She was wanderingj--she didn't really know where--when suddenly a voice interrupted her train of thoughts.
"HEY! What do you think you're doing?" The angry voice broke through her rambling ideas. She whirled around, noticing a young man wearing the crimson colors of the Mat'onit. Oh no, not again, she thought to herself. She had trespassed again by accident.
"I-I'm sorry!" She said, running away, hoping to outrun the young man. She ran quickly back onto the Mat'era territory, trying to find somewhere to hide when she nearly ran into a tree.
"Whoops, not again," She mumbled, slowing down to a walk. She crested a small hill and saw something. A pure black dinosaur with flame like markings.
"Holy hill!" She whispered, in awe. Her eyes sparkled happily. She had run into a dinosaur, and was determined to, well, catch it. She had been looking for one for ages, and maybe with one, she could out-run people! Then she wouldn't get punish again for trespassing. She grinned slightly, watching it move around majestically. She was completely entranced by it, and slipped down the hill quietly, determined to get a closer look. The dino smelt something and looked around, but didn't spot her, as she had hidden behind a convenient bush.
"I guess if I had to name him, it would be Blaise." She said, observing the black dinosaur. "Huh. I guess that's odd, a girl like water meets a dino like fire," She mumbled. She sat back and watched the dino move around, and she sighed happily.
"If I can catch him, maybe Mother and Father wouldn't act like I was the biggest disgrace in the family," she thought to herself. I'd be finally respected.
She had totally forgotten about the member of the Mat'onit, who was still determined to catch her, because he felt like it was his duty. Not knowing about the man creeping up behind her until almost too late, she only realized it because the dino--or Blaise, as she had called him--roared loudly and very angrily. Is it angry at me? She questioned, quickly standing up to run away when she noticed the man. She ran down towards the dinosaur (no other direction was available, you see) hoping that the man wouldn't follow. Thankfully, he didn't, he just glared at her and ran the opposite direction, probably back towards the Mat'onit to report her, or maybe--her thinking was interrupted when she felt a warm breath against her neck.
Shrieking slightly, she jumped backwards and noticed it was just the dinosaur, who was a little angry at her for interrupting his snack.
"Holy hill, you scared me! Don't do that again!" She said, alarmed at what could happen. (She didn't particularly want to be eaten, you see. It didn't really interest her.) The dinosaur just snorted angrily and Naida backed up a little. Now how to proceed?
It seemed like fate was on her side that day.

Basic Training #1

Postby Korona Knight » Thu Dec 05, 2013 2:10 pm

Mako looked onward at the dinosaur, completely caught up in its glory. He had already named this dinosaur, Inferno, as he knew he could no longer use the name Enriko.
He slowly approached the flaming beast, his hands trembling softly. The dinosaur looked down at him, daring him to touch his dark snout.
The tension in the air was thick as Mako got closer and closer. He squeezed his eyes shut and pressed forward, gasping softly as his hand made contact with the slick scales. Inferno did not make a sound, nor did he move, as his new rider touched his nose.
Mako allowed his hand to fall then, looking up at Inferno. "Nice to meet you again, Inferno," he laughed sadly, wiping away a few tears. Inferno lowered himself, looking Mako straight on, a grin almost apparent on his face.
"I missed you too, buddy," Mako murmured, hugging the dinosaur's snout.

Basic Training #2

Postby Korona Knight » Sun Jul 20, 2014 7:25 am

Mako lead Inferno back to his home, which happened to be on the outskirts of the Mat'onit territory. With Inferno patiently waiting for him outside, Mako sifted through his house, finally lugging out the old tack that he and Inferno used to use, back when Inferno was Enriko. The tack was all black, the saddle blanket a beautiful black with fire licking at the side edges. Inferno's eyes lit up as he saw the old armor, his tail thumping the ground a few times, much like a dog would when it was happy. This only made Mako laugh harder as he began to put the bridle on the dinosaur, then the saddle. It was a great moment, something Mako had missed so much. As he finished the last and final buckle, tears sprung to his eyes as he watched his new dinosaur stand up, looking proud and better than ever. "Let's do this," Mako murmured, grabbing Inferno's bridle as he lead him towards their old mounting stand.
