Please stop commenting about this so often, it spams up the threads. I am actually on a semi-hiatus now and am going through some stressful life problems, I will get to these judgings when I have the time. I may have to start handing out warnings or bans if people spam too much.

Dino's Name: Aestus, meaning flaring heat or glow in Latin.
Dino's Name Pronunciation: Aestus, (i-as-tu-s).
Dino's Gender: Male
Your Rider's Name: Bellona
[ The Basics ]
Character Name: Bellona (Bay-lon-nah). Derived from the Latin bellare meaning "to fight". This was the name of the Roman goddess of war, a companion of Mars. She only has one nickname which is Bay, and only her brothers and her father call her as such.
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Tribe: Mat'huen

[ The Inside ]
Personality:
Strong:
Bellona is fighter not a lover. She is physically strong but not so much emotionally and mentally. Bellona will never give up without a fight. She won't stand for bullying or cowardliness of any kind. Those in fact are her biggest pet peeves.
Determined:
If something is difficult, Bellona will want to conquer it and conquer it to the best of her ability. She loves a challenge and blossoms when things seem impossible. She will always weather out the storm because she knows there is always a rainbow after it.
Honest:
One thing no one can deny about Bellona is that she is honest, sometimes brutally so. If you were to ask her does this make me look fat, she would say "Yes." without a second thought. She doesn't like people who lie or cheat and cannot stand those who take advantage of others.
Rugged:
She has never been the sit down and talk kind of girl, rather the opposite. She is a semi-outgoing person who loves the outdoors and playing rough. She has trouble showing her emotions and sometimes make her sort of an outcast of her own within a tribe of outcasts.
Wounded:
She often feels trapped in life due to her troubled past. She fears never being able to face her fear of Bernikesuruses. Her face hides a thousand scars someone once told her.
Fierce:
Beyond anything, Bellona's true self is fierce and won't give up when things are tough. She will fight and fight until her body gives out or her opponent gives up.

Family: Her father is a great warrior, and her mother a simple village girl. She has 4 brothers all older than she.
History: Bellona has always been a fighter growing up in a family of 4 older brothers. Her childhood was full of running, wrestling, and learning to handle weapons. Around the age of seven, she was attacked by a rogue Bernikesaurus and became a completely different person. When she once was outgoing and brave, she became quite skittish and nervous. She has been gaining back her courage slowly and is now trying to find herself again in her trial to become part of the tribe. She has felt a true connection with and will fight her fears to be accepted by Aestus.
Likes: Fighting, Dirt, Wrestling, Nature, Being in the Sun, Swimming, Exploring
Dislikes: Being scared, dresses, gossip
Theme Song: XxxX

[ The Outside ]
Physical Appearance: Bellona is your typical rugged, outdoorsy 15 year old. She is tall, around 5'9', and has a leanly muscular body type. Her skin is tan, and always has been with the amount of time she spends outdoors. Her hair is a strange shade of deep gold with with blacker strands at the roots. Her hair falls mid-back and is naturally wavy. It always gets in her eyes when it is down, so it is normal plaited and laid to the side of her neck. She has dark blue eyes with a ring of light silver around the pupil. She has several scars, and she walks with a slight almost invisible limp. The most noticeable being a slight silver scar on the top of her left cheek.
Strengths: She has lots of stamina and is able to run long distances over the rugged train surrounding the caves of her tribe. She is physically fit and has a respectable amount of muscle on her. She knows a good bit of hand to hand combat and will not hesitate to hurt you if you attack her. She is most skilled with a bow and arrow although she can fight well with a sword and knives too.
Weaknesses: Bay does not like to glorify her strengths or her weaknesses. Her worst weakness is her almost deathly fear of Bernikesauruses. Whenever she is reminded of the attack, she goes in to a flashback. Her body freezes and her mind scrambles. She is left utterly vulnerable and completely immobile against her opponent.

Your Rider's Tribe: Mat'huen
First Impression:
Bellona huffed and stalked away from the extremely irritating human being that was her youngest brother. She fumed and paced throwing her hands in the air. ‘Why does he have to rub it in? I will take my place in the tribe. I will be the greatest warrior the Mat’huen tribe has ever produced.’ she thought with determination. She turned slowly and started jogging back to the caves. Bellona reached home and lifted the flap of linen, which separated her room from the rest of the cave. She hurriedly began to gather essential clothing items. She finished packing her leather satchel and started towards the middle of the cave. She stopped and grabbed her bow and quiver, along with a short sword and several throwing knives. She brushed past the leftovers of her morning meal as she selected two small, round loaves of bread and some dried meat to eat. She squinted against the bright light as she strode out of the cave. She halted suddenly, ‘What if I don’t come back?’ she thought. Her mind said stay but her heart said you know what you have to do. She followed her heart into the best and worst thing that ever happened to her.

Bellona sighed and slowly sunk to the cold, damp floor of the cave. Sparkles of light danced across the shimmering cave walls, as she wrapped her arms around her knees and brought them to her chest in a tight hug. She stared across the small pool in the center of the floor and slowly, softly began to weep. All of her efforts had been in vain. She would be doomed to never find her steed and never be a part of the tribe. An exile, they would call her unworthy to ever come home again. As she sat in the near darkness weeping, a soft sound tickled her ears. A splash of moisture hit her cheek and dribbled down along her cloak. She began to lift her head and wipe her eyes. A shadow fell across the water. A black and blue head lowered toward the shimmering pool and gulped the sweet liquid down. The head lifted and intelligent emerald green eyes shimmered, as they watched her warily from across the small pond.
Bellona froze every muscle tensing and tightening. Her breaths became ragged and rough, a harsh sound heaving through her chest. She jerked her head down, and her eyes shut as she lost all sense of reality. Blurred shapes and roars drummed through her senses as rotten, foul smelling breath puffed towards her nose. Everything sharpened, as the shape loomed closer, closer. Her body shook violently, and her lips opened, a silent scream echoing past her lips. A cool, cold nose butted her shoulder and she whimper and jumped back. Claws clicked against the hard, rocky floor. The sharp, pleasant scent of mint tickled her nose. A rough but soothing tongue licked up her cheek, over her scar and stopped. Shaking and utterly fearful, she lifted her head and without opening her eyes brought her right hand up until it brushed across smooth, cool scales. The head pressed closer to her hand and exhaled loudly as it lowered toward the ground. Again a rough but soothing tongue touched her face, and slowly began to lick away all traces of tears from her cheeks. Bellona moved her other hand and let her legs slip towards the floor until they lay flat against the stone. The head inched closer until it lay completely on her lap. She slowly cracked open her eyes and gasped……

Do you plan to train this dino?: Yes, he is so gorgeous and it would KILL me not to train him. I will most likely opt for the writing option for most of the training, as my drawing skills leave much to be desired.

Basic Training One

A cool, cold nose butted her shoulder and she whimpered and jumped back. Again a rough tongue touched her face, and slowly began to lick away all traces of tears from her cheeks. Bellona moved her other hand and let her legs slip towards the floor until they lay flat against the stone. The head inched closer until it lay completely on her lap. She slowly cracked open her eyes and gasped 'he is beautiful' in her mind. She let her fingers wander between his cool blue eyes and slowly traced the rigid scales between his nostrils. The beast exhaled slowly with an air of finality. It inhaled deeply and sighed against her hand. He had found the one. She had found him.

I do believe this was left too long. My deepest apology. Life has simply gotten well a lot like life.
