pony name: Saria
personality: Saria may not seem it, but she's a tough cookie, who's hobby happens to be hunting, aside from her other hobby/job as a cake decorator at a bakery. Her most prized possession is a homemade slingshot she made when she was a filly. She has painted it with leaves and ivy, the exact colour as her eyes. She can speak a little German.
story or art:
Saria rushed out of her house as she quickly grabbed her belt, which held her slingshot and some pebbles for ammo, as well as some crackers. "See you! *Aufweidersein*!" She called out to her mother as she rushed out the door. Saria ran out to her favourite tree. She quickly climbed up it carefully as she could and pulled out her sling shot. Saria let a stone fly loose and then heard wood smash. "Yes! Another bull's eye!!!" She had hit one of the targets she had set up the other day. She then moved on to shooting the rest. "Saria! Come back to the house, it getting dark!!!!" her mother called for her, a little later. Saria rushed home and ran into the kitchen. She smelled her favourite dish, Apple Strudel.
Present day
The delicious smell of apples filled her nose. Saria put some oven mitts on and pulled out the pan. Apple Strudel. Perfect, yet again. The smell of apple strudel always gave her fond memories of when she was younger. After a day of perfecting her aim, her mother always made apple strudel on Sundays. Saria picked up some icing and started decorating the pastries with complicated swirls. It reminded her of her old slingshot, now covered in dust, paint faded. When she got home, she found her old slingshot in a small toybox filled with small porcelain dolls and a small sowing set. Saria gently moved old toys aside and found the shape of an old piece of wood, shaped like a Y, with faded leaf patterns on it. She softly picked it up, and looked at it, sweeping the dust off with a hankerchief.
Art:
*Aufweidersein* means "goodbye" in German.
