The sun shone bright, high in the sky. The heat was almost unbearable. There was a family of Aublims walking through what was left of a forest. All the vegetation had died due the excruciating heat and this caused a shortage of food. The 'pack' had gone through these famines before, but none quite like this. With little water and barely getting their fill, the family had to leave as soon as possible. But, they had to eat before going on. They couldn't afford to risk going another day and have half of them pass away. They seaprated into small teams hoping to find something editable.
June and her mother were sent to search together. June was very young at the time.They looked underneath, below, and above everything that they could find but still had not found anything.
