Vanity wasn't always called Vanity, she used to be Crystal, she was the most beautiful, everyone knew it, and she was kind and loving, but the one stallion that she loved, didn't love her, all the other stallions tryed to impress her, but since he didn't love her, her heart broke, in time it fixed, but it wasn't the same, instead of kind and humble, she was now uncaring and vain, she teased everyone, let the stallions think they were winning her over and as soon as they asked to take it further, shoved the trick in their face, the hatred twards her from the other horses summoned an enchantress, and not a particularly nice one, in the night, she came to Crystal, in a dream and explained to her that her body would slowly become the color of her vain heart, and as soon as it was fully that color, she would be trapped behind it forever, not only that, but the enchantress assured her that if her coat became the color of the vanity inside, she would not longer be beautiful, and the only way to stop the transformation, was to truely love, and be loved in return, that was difficult, she had been vain and uncarring for so long, she wasn't sure if she knew how to love any more, not only that, but she had to be loved, and not only did the other stallions not love her anymore, but she could only ever love the stallion who had broken her heart, she pushed these thought aside and said to the enchantress "This is all a dream, a fake dream to scare me into being kind, it won't work, the world is cruel, all those stallions cared about was my beauty, and I won't have that? PA-LEASE!!! besides, not like this is real any how" the enchantress smirked "you shall she in the morning" she said, and the dream was over, the rest of her sleep was darkness, when she woke, her coat was partly black, she screamed and the other Kilids looked, they laughed at her, hysterically, and she ran off, none of them would love her, including him, would she be stuck being a dull coated horse forever? (as the black should be a dull coat, not shiney, so that she cannot be as beautiful) I'm hoping that there will be like a role play so she can find a mate and reverse the curse.
