Sand Surfers are small, furry creatures that stand about a twenty inches tall, fifteen inches long, and weigh an average of seven pounds for both genders. These animals are native to the deserts of Egypt, India, and Africa. The Sand Sufer's coat is thin and soft, making for easy travel across the sand. You may have noticed the large tail at the ends of their bodies. Sand Surfer's use their muscled tail to "surf" across sand in the desert. These creatures live mainly underground in complex tunnels that are about five feet below the surface to keep cool. Sand Surfers are omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and plant material. A common food of the species are small rodents, small birds, small reptiles, berries, grasses, and nuts. They also eat eggs of other animals when they can get their hands on them.

Description ::
A sort of combination of the African palm civet and the (light morph) desert monitor. The palm civet has a pale face, a golden body with light belly and dark-spotted back and flanks, and a striped tail. The desert monitor has a pale tannish body with near-white spots on its back and legs, brownish bands on the back and tail, and greyish stripes on the snout and sides of the head, neck, and body. Italicized words are characteristics I especially wish to see in my custom. c: Since I already own this guy, I would like the custom to be more gold in color, so as to avoid looking too similar, but I really like the palm civet's pale face. I do like stripes on both of these animals, though not necessarily the monitor's spots. I dunno, if you put spots in, you might be able to make them look appealing to me. The rest is up to you.
