I don't know. I'm going to ask Violet Stombringer. I may just redesign her. She's not getting enough forms to even judge and they're not even complete so close to the end date.

EDIT;; She's being redesigned. Read the first page for updates if you're interested.

I'd like to adopt this Fern Puff!

Name:
Cherry

Gender:
Female

Personality:

'Cherry eh? Yeah I'll tell ya a thing or two about that Cherry gal. She's a real sly one if ya know what I mean. Always willin' to lie and cheat to get what she wants she is. Hehe and you'd best believe she's left a trail o' broken hearts along the way to do it too. How do I know yer askin? Psh cuz I was one o' em, only thing is I can't blame the poor girl. Matter o' fact she had her heart broken plenty o' times before ever meetin me. Istill can't say I deserved it tho. And don't even try gettin' yer hopes up that you'll be her knight or princess in shinin armor either. She too independent to even try askin fer your help, unless she ain't gotta choice. Life ain't been no picnic for poor Cherry gal, but the way I sees it she's gotta go her own way or the highway. Problem is she don't know how ta get there fast enough.' --Bruce the 'Cat'

Cherry is a fast-talking, street-smart girl who can take care of herself just fine. She's flirty alright though and happens to have a certain charm that draws many in but can leave many broken-hearted just as easily. She's flighty too and hardly ever stays in one place always opting to hit the road quicker than to stay committed to anything. Commitment is a fear to her though and makes her feel caged in or boxed when truthfully its hardly anything like that. Always wanting to travel and goes wherever the wind takes her, no matter she ends up you'll have to believe that Cherry definitely loves to be under the open sky. However to those she cares for she'll always come back, no matter what even if just for a visit or she'll do her best to stay in touch. Especially for a little girl named Avery. Avery's only just 9 years old and is an orphan. Cherry however always feels like she has to come back to look after her and to protect her from things she'd be afraid of. These two are best friends for life.

Art/Story:

Cherry sighed as she gazed up with amber eyes at the darkening winter sky, shivering slightly from the cold. She was on the road again alright, having decided to leave a sleepy little town named HopeRidge to go back to her birthhome. She padded on, feeling chilly as she raced down the streets and climbed up the telephone poles with ease. Once up there she looked around and smiled as she caught sight of the bright city lights of her home, gleaming brightly like a beacon against the dark, cold night. Climbing down from her perch she raced for the big city she knew and loved. The sights and sounds would be enough to put her at ease with her life she was sure. Or so she thought.

As she entered the busy city however she was shocked to find that everything she once knew had changed. While it was still as busy as ever everything about it....everything had changed or moved. She almost got lost in that maze of an alleyway she used to play in, and nearly fell into a pond that certainly wasn't there when she'd left. What had happened to her home?! Upset she raced through the legs of crowds of busy people, dodging this and that and hissing fiercely as something stepped on her tail. "OW!" The thing disappeared of course but Cherry was already racing away, weaving through traffic, almost stumbling several times. Once almost getting hit by and approaching bus. She'd forgotten this! Forgotten how bad it had been in the city. This was why she left. She should have never have come here! Tears raced down her soft brown cheeks at the thought. She eventually stopped running to find a quiet park to hide in for the night weary from her travels and heavily disappointed.

This was supposed to be her solace! The one place she could always come back to. Now that everything had changed however...there was nothing to go back for. She hadn't even caught a glimpse of a familiar face. Feeling dejected she leapt onto a park bench and curled up. She couldn't believe it! This wasn't supposed to happen.

"Nothings the same anymore," she thought as she lay curled up in the cold alone. However she wasn't alone for very long as a warm press of fur brushed against her and she looked up startled only to gasp in surprise. "E-Ezra!" The Australian Sheppard mix grinned widely down at her, his two mismatched eyes gleaming brightly. "Hello again Cherry!" He said cheerily. "Saw ya out in the cold...what are you doin' here by your lonesome? Everyone else is in the dens." Cherry shook her head. "I couldn't find my way."

Ezra looked shocked, but then he smiled. "Cherry stumped on how to get somewhere? Are you sure you're the same Fern Puff I met?" Cherry hissed at him but it was playful as she climbed up his neck and wrapped around it, shivering. "Aw jeez Cherry you're freezing!" He huffed lightly and then glanced at the roaring city around them. "But that's alright...I'll take you home Cherry."

Cherry shivered but said nothing as he raced through the park and through several more alleyways before he slipped into an old abandoned building. "Don't worry, the place is still the same as always...and so are the the ones who live here." Cherry's eyes widened at that and she looked up at him just as a small voice spoke. "E-Ezra?" The familiar voice murmured. "I-Is that you?" A girl, a little girl no more than 9 years old stood shivering in her ragged little jacket. Her eyes were a soft blue color that seemed older than the world and in that moment Cherry knew one thing and one thing only. She couldn't leave. "That's Avery." the dog murmured but Cherry wasn't listening as she jumped down from the dog's neck and raced over to the girl squeaking softly. The little girl looked startled but upon seeing Cherry she grinned. "Cherry!" She squealed and Cherry squeaked happily before racing into her arms. "Avery!" She mumbled as she quickly wrapped herself around the girl's neck. "I missed you too."
