The moon lingers over your head,
your feet sound crisp against the ground,
your body just wants you to fall in bed,
so you can sleep safe and sound

The romantic feel fills up the air,
as you walk in the cold shivery night,
and although your mind says beware, beware,
your know theres nothing to give you a fright

Walking alone in the night can be wise,
It gives you time to think,
About all your friends and all of the lies,
and you turn around home in an eyeblink

The moon's shine beaming down
Misty clouds coming to visit Earth
Making you look all around
But the crowds of mist block his vision
He can't see, this makes him frown.

The beautiful colors that fill our sight
He dreams up what he thinks they look like
The sun so piercing, the moon so bright
He wants to see their beams of light.

This makes him sad, makes him down
All he can really do is feel the ground
Hear all the strange things that makes his ears pound,
Smell the food from the busy town.

He hears the moon is so beautiful
The fears he has that he'll never see it
Some say he reminds them of it's glow
These pretty things he can't see,
It just makes him want to let go.
