Gamzee is a very nice JDB but sometimes is a pain.He loves to sit around and watch TV but hes very athletic too.He loves his soft drinks and sodas believe me. Hes a bit insane but not too much. Hes not that social but honestly,hes a very nice guy when if you get to know him. Shes lloves rock and rap music,he also likes blueberries and Black berries.He has had a hard past but he doesn't talk about it at all,only if he really trusts you.

☾ ☾ ＢＡＳＩＣＳ && ＩＮＴＲＯＤＵＣＴＩＯＮ

"Welcome to Night Vale.

"Old Woman Josie has informed me that some of her angels are on the loose. They are currently following random citizens around and moaning loudly whenever the person speaks. So, listeners, if you are hearing strange moaning voices coming from behind you when you speak, you can return your angel friend to Old Woman Josie for a reward. You can also come to the hole in the vacant lot out back of the Ralph’s and huddle with the others there. They gave us this flyer, which says they are also giving a reward... the reward in question isn't specified, but I'm sure they will be most welcoming.

Meet Khoshekh. Or rather, don't- you've probably heard all about him already. That weird guy, right? The one who's always talking about his own imaginary town? The one who won't address you by your name, but refers to his "listeners" instead? Yeah, that's who i'm talking about.
No, he's not mentally ill, I promise. He just thinks in a different way than you or I. He only talks to his listeners, sure- but that's us, right? If you listen to him. you're a listener.
Even if you don't live in Night Vale.

Night Vale is his home. You guys might call him a traveler, but in his mind, he's not going anywhere! To him, everywhere is Night Vale, which is- er- fictional. All sorts of weird stuff goes on there. If you listen to Khoshekh during his little broadcasts, you can pick up most of it. It's surprisingly realistic, as crazy as that sounds.

Also, you can't talk to him normally, guys. You have to talk to him Night Vale style- by giving him a call. Like, figuratively. You can just talk to him. Isn't that pretty neat? Just don't talk to him in a really direct manner- no second person. He tends to disturb or creep out others by the way he talks, but it's just normal for him, I swear. He doesn't address the person he's talking to, but seemingly to thin air. To his "listeners." He pretends he's a radio host in a fictional town called Night Vale, and whenever he has to answer a question, he does it in the strangest and most roundabout way possible.

☾ ☾ Ａ ＢＲＩＥＦ ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ

Khoshekh was a funny child. Funny as in hilarious to him, and funny as in downright strange to everyone else. When he was very young, he would always make up stories, but he'd grow constantly frustrated with them. He couldn't find a proper setting, a place to ground his tales.
The very first time he began dreaming of night vale was shortly after he had convinced his mother to buy him a spooky-looking hood. He happily pulled it over his head, laughing and shouting "now for your reeducation!" They were passing a dog park, a particularly ominous one with no dogs inside. And then, Night Vale unfolded.
It grew from the dog park to the sky and the lights and the G L O W C L O U D, to Arby's and the City Council. And then finally, when the stage was set, Khoshekh shoved himself into the heart of the town, setting up his equipment at the Night Vale Community Radio.
At first the other kids were fascinated. How amazing was their friend Khoshekh, to dream up this world by himself?
But as they grew up, the magic wore out, and Khoshekh was alone in Night Vale. Well, alone as you could get with angels, interns, hooded figures, and your own imaginary boyfriend.
His imaginary boyfriend who mirrored real life- not the same name, not the same face, of course, but both as perfect as perfect could be. Khoshekh completely and totally doted on Steve Carlsberg- his first boyfriend, and, at that time, the love of his life.
It didn't last, of course. Steve dumped Khoshekh in possibly the most cold way possible, and the two were never the same again. Khoshekh withdrew to Night Vale, took to talking only to his listeners, and redid his imaginary boyfriend. The new one, Carlos, was even more perfect than Steve- with such perfect hair, a perfect smile, and a personality as close to idea as Khoshekh could dream of.
During his mid-teens, Khoshekh moved out. Night Vale was growing, and it was now far too big to be contained in his ridiculously plain hometown. It was growing.
He wandered, but Night Vale followed him. It didn't matter- it was his home, his natural environment. The farther away from home he went, the more strange looks he got, but he was oblivious. Until one day, when Night Vale somehow just evaporated for him and he fell hard back into reality.
It was due to Desert Bluffs- one small, cheery town Khoshekh stumbled across. It was so much different than Night Vale, and had just as strong an influence- and it scared Khoshekh, it did. For some reason, he couldn't immerse himself in Night Vale while in Desert Bluffs. As much as his heart told him to get out of this pretty town as soon as he could, his mind disobeyed. In a sudden burst of natural curiosity, he stayed. Time seemed to stand still, much like it did in Night Vale. It broke Khoshekh's spirit, he simply couldn't break out of this odd trance.
Not until Steve Carlsberg turned up, anyway. As soon as the two laid eyes on each other, Khoshekh simply stumbled backwards out of Desert Bluffs, took a deep breath, shoved his headphones on, and left forever.
And all at once, Night Vale returned, and he was relieved. Out of that horrid place, all alone once again! He cleared his throat and began to speak, his voice quite rusty..

"I am back, Night Vale, I am back! How I ever left you, I don't know. There was something that pulled me toward that place, but fear not, it's gone now.
And now, to traffic... wait, what day is it?

ａｎｄ ｎｏｗ, ｔｈｅ ｗｅａｔｈｅｒ.

☾ ☾ ＰＨＹＳＩＣＡＬ ＤＥＴＡＩＬＳ

Khoshekh has an overall strange appearance. His build is quite lanky and thin to the point of skeletal. He can come off as intimidating, deranged, even as a that-crazy-homeless-person type. Honestly, though, this is just the way he's made- Khoshekh is reasonably healthy in every way.
His hair is quite unruly, part of the reason why he adores Carlos' perfect hair so much. In facial structure, he's also quite gaunt, with a slightly twisted muzzle.
His eyes are one of the most unusual things about him. This seems to be the first thing to drive other people away. He doesn't have any proper pupils, and the crescents that seem to serve as them are difficult to keep track of. Khoshekh's eyes seem to have a hypnotic quality. One of the many rumors about him are that if you stare directly into his eyes, he'll hypnotize you.
Khoshekh's expressions and emotions, which are pretty much the same as everyone else, always seem to come out wrong. His sweetest smile comes off as a pained grimace. An excited grin looks more like a disturbing sneer. This is probably the biggest thing that alienates him from others. It's also his favorite thing about Carlos- that Carlos will accept him no matter what, and loves him just the same.
Khoshekh loves for the person, not the gender. He has a slight preference of males, but is completely open to relationships with females as well.

☾ ☾ ＴＨＥ ＭＥＭＢＥＲＳ ＯＦ ＫＨＯＳＨＥＫＨ'Ｓ ＮＩＧＨＴ ＶＡＬＥ

Who are, sadly, the most important people in his life.
Carlos- Carlos is Khoshekh's fictional boyfriend. Modeled roughly after all the things Khoshekh liked about Steve, Carlos is absolutely perfect. Khoshekh honestly doesn't care about having a real-life boyfriend/girlfriend as long as he has Carlos. And he always will- because Carlos lives in Night Vale. And Night Vale is eternal.
Dana- Dana is the little sister Khoshekh never had. He cares deeply for her, but not in a romantic way. Though Khoshekh tends to get bored of the interns he dreams up and kills them off in random ways, he's taken a liking to Dana, and doubts he'll let her die anytime soon.
Old Woman Josie- Old Woman Josie is based roughly on Khoshekh's own mother. He has a hard time figuring out his feelings toward her, since they were quite close when he was younger, but she eventually grew tired of him. He does miss her quite a lot, though he doesn't realize it. Nor does he realize how much he wants her to have some angels to help her out, wherever she is now.
The Apache Tracker- Khoshekh has no idea why the Apache Tracker exists in Night Vale. He just does.
Steve Carlsberg- Steve Carlsberg is the only member of Khoshekh's Night Vale universe that belongs to the real world as well. This is simply for personal reasons- the more Steve is involved in Khoshekh's life, the more Khoshekh can disagree with him.

☾ ☾ ＡＤＤＩＴＩＯＮＡＬ ＩＮＦＯ ＡＢＯＵＴ ＭＥ

I wanted to make a small extra section about why I want Khoshekh and about what I plan to do with him. I'll try to keep it short and sweet ^^
Firstly, I own two JBDs currently, and i'd like to say I love them to bits. I know i'm not "active" by the strictest definition of the word, but I do care about my JBDs. That's just a disclaimer, since I don't want my "inactive" nature to count against me. Rest assured that whether or not I win Khoshekh, i'm preparing to make more of an effort to join the community, despite how intimidating it is to me. c'x
Second, I want to explain a bit about my approach on Khoshekh. See, I didn't want him to be practically a clone of Cecil- although Cecil is adorkable and amazing and hilarious in his own way, I thought it would just be a bit too boring to have a character too similar for him.
Khoshekh is, in my mind, the personification of Night Vale itself- kooky, creepy, wandering, and just a little bit goofy. At least, that's what I set out to make him. I have no idea how my descriptions come across, but there you go.
I'd be honored to own him, but I won't put up a fuss if I lose- I can, of course, understand the reasons, and I trust that he'll have a good home with a fellow Night Vale fan. Thank you so much for the opportunity, and good luck to the other entrants!
