Timber Dwarf Dragons are intelligent, egg-laying mammals about the size of a large dog. They have very soft fur that varies in length and colour. They are very social, living in large groups of Dwarves called 'tives', or among humans. Their diets consist of mostly fruit, vegetables, and, when living with humans, sweets. They will often form a bond with one person, and may help that person with their work or hobbies, whatever they may be.
Each TDD has two names; their birthname, and a common name. Their birthname is a long, dragonlike name, given to them at birth by their parents. Generally, only their parents will call them this. Their common name is usually shorter, and often based off of a fruit, sweet, colour, or item. This name is given to them by their human, or, in the case of a wild dwarf, chosen by the dwarf themselves.
