I immediately thought Moari, which is the term for indigenous New Zealand people. He has deep brown markings and swirling blue ones, like the tattoos of their culture.

The tides sweep in
I stand atop the cliff and breathe in
Feeling the salt air hit my calm face
The wind blows on me off the ocean's surface
Hitting the hillside and sliding up
All I see is infinite blue and cyan before me
I hear the ripping, slashing sounds of the waves
Music to my ears
The golden sun sinks below the horizon, slowly
Decorating the glittering sea with golden specks
I let out a chuckling howl
That sings out from the cliff edge
For all the world to hear, for them to experience my own joy
And know that this is where I stand
My home, my land, my life
My culture
