Name: Nazo Jimen (Japanese word for "mystery Ground") I chose this name because Glitches (this one in particular) seem like mysterious creatures that roam Earth. Their masks add a sense of mystery and how different they are from other creatures are also a mystery.
Personality: Nazo is less shy than an average Glitch. It is hard for him to make friends, but when he does, he opens up. When he opens up, he is quite the loving little Glitch. He can melt people's hearts by just walking up to them and trying to cuddle. Overall, he is a loving and quiet Glitch.

New Encounter
The tail of the small creature snapped at the air, waiting for insects to approach around it. It was a cold and snowy day, covering the mountains in a blanket of white. Nazo's glowing eyes scanned the mountain, looking for any signs of food. His stomach made a tiny growl.

"Hey dad, when we reach the top, what do you think is up there?"

Nazo's ears perked up when hearing a child's voice. It was female at that. He listened intently, hearing the father talk about beautiful scenery and such. Nazo's tail twitched a bit, moving toward the two. Maybe they would be kind enough to offer food. He hid his tail behind himself in case the humans were scared of the alien-like body. "Daddy, look! It's so cute!" the girl called out, pointing at Nazo. His eyes glowed brighter in happiness. The human thought of himself as a good thing. The father looked up, smiling as well. "That thing is called a Glitch. I heard they're friendly, want to feed it something? He looks hungry" the father spoke up, rummaging through his bag. As he did that, Nazo curiously padding up to them, sitting down at the girl's feet. She grinned, bending down and gently stroking his head with her hand. Nazo's tail swayed side-to-side in content.

"Here, don't put it near it's head. He eats it from his tail"
"Eww"
"Haha, it's okay sweetheart"

The girl took the food and hesitated to put the berries near Nazo's tail. Nazo's mouth gracefully perked up and gently took the berries from her hand. The girl giggled, kissing him on his mask. "I'm Ava" she whispered softly. Nazo made a small hum of approval, nuzzling her leg. She gave another giggle and looked at her father. "Alright, Ava. Let's go" he spoke, beginning to walk. Ava turned back sadly, but followed her father. Nazo's ears drooped. Maybe it was better to stay with the humans. It was quite awful being alone out in the wilderness. He padded up to her, the mouth of his tail tugging on her pants slightly. She turned back, smiling sadly. "Daddy...can we keep him?" she spoke softly, picking the Glitch up carefully. The Glitch looked up at her father with pleading eyes. Her father sighed and crossed his arms.

"Well...What would you name him?"
"Nazo!"
"Heh, why's that?"
"Because he's a mystery" she said, giggling. This made Nazo quite happy. He was accepted by a family. He had a family now. He wriggled free from Ava's arms and hopped onto her father's shoulder. His tail reached up and licked the man's cheek gratefully. The father chuckle, scratching Nazo's head. "Alright, alright. Let's head up the mountain!"
