Chestnut Tobiano - "Cross Walker"

Postby .Vetinater. » Sun Jun 30, 2013 9:48 am

This Gypsy Vanner has very unique markings,
with the one around it's eye resembling a leaf.
Each ear is a different color as well..
Unique indeed. <3

Horse's Gender: Stallion
Horse's Name: Tribute's Pride (Tribute)
What does this horse's markings remind you of?: My Great Uncle gelding Clydesdale, Shamrock, who instead was actually black and white. His facial markings remind me of a painted war horse, as its majestic tone takes over!
Short personality: Tribute, is a independent, but loyal stallion. He well mannered, and bold.
Short-story (optional): Tribute hooves clanged the padded grass under him, as he stepped again with each whistle his owner, Leo, made.
"Ah, That's it boy." Leo spoke, as he reached his hand out to place his hand upon Tribute nostril. Tribute began to take short, sharp breaths as he listened to his masters words. They had trained for this many months now, and it finally began to show effect that with work, love, time and patiences a wild horse, could come to trust and come on with a human, and Tribute had chosen his human.

hello, bonjour
please call me believe

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Horse's Gender: --- Female/Mare
Horse's Name: --- Hot Cross Buns {Cross walker}
What does this horse's markings remind you of?: --- This horse's markings reminds me of an old horse i used to have called cross bones {i named her close to that}. Cross bones was one of my favorite horses and a great jumper at that! Cross bones had almost the same markings. Another thing it reminds me of is Autumn, like the color of the leaves and drinking cinnamon coco.
Short personality: --- Cross walker is a very determined horse, she loves being rode and worked hard on. She is a perfectionist and believes everything she does should be perfect for her human. If she messes up she just tries even harder, practice makes perfect!
Short-story (optional): ---
Cross walker was born in Ridgewood Stables, a famous jumping stable. She was meant to be sold, that was until a barn hand found her jumping over logs and rocks. The barn hand told the owner and the owner decided to start early training. So at a very young age they taught her to jump with out someone on. When she turned 3 they put their best rider on her. She didn't even buck, and she jumped perfectly, although with a few faults. At age 5 she fell and hurt her leg, they thought she was useless so they took her to Gl stable. Turns out she was fine, and she still jumps over logs and boulders.

not my best work but i think its fine :)
