Backstory:
Araxie's backstory is fairly simply, but a bit on the sad side. You see, because of her power that makes her extremely special, she was always treated as a bit of an outcast. It isn't that her power was bad or scary, it was just different and many of the other Heras were not accepting of that. So, sometimes, when she was little - despite Heras being gentle creatures by nature - Araxie would get teased by the younger Heras and then shunned by the older ones. The adults were never actually mean to her, and they never verbally did anything to make her feel unwanted, it was they way they behaved around her. Like they tolerated her, but didn't accept her. She was treated as a bit of an outcast her entire life, and it was a way of living she soon came to accept.
How is she special?:
Araxie has the power to heal certain types of wounds through the use of water she can create and use through the tip of her tail like a paintbrush. This water is pure and, if tasted, is sweeter than any other water. Of course, it isn't made for drinking, but for healing, like said before. But Araxie cannot heal every single wound, but only certain ones. Her abilities can sew deep cuts and burns, and sometimes small internal problems by ingesting a few drops of the water. But anything more extreme is more of a bet than a sure-fire way of healing whatever ails the person. Sometimes, in very rare cases, someone might get lucky and the water will hel more severe wounds, but like I said, it is rare. This special ability of Araxie's is odd, but not bad ... So why did the others treat her the way they did for it?
One extra{your choice}:
Personality:
Araxie is, as most Heras are, a very gentle and docile creature, but sometimes a bit more shy than most. It is probably caused by the affects of her past, and so she isn't too keen on talking and can take some time to really open up to someone. She likes to stay in the back where she can't really be seen, and doesn't like being the center of attention. When she is, Araxie is normally insanely timid and has even been known to stutter sometimes as she tries to talk. But, if you get her to open up, and can befriend her, then Araxie is almost like a completely different Hera. She is funny and playful and loves to laugh, and is much more condfident with herself when she's around others that she knows like and accept her, despite her odd ability. When it comes time for her to use said ability, then Araxie will display extreme independance and authority, going about her job seriously with a sense of determination. So you see, there really is more to her than meets the eye, you just have to first get past her strange, but wonderful, ability. Like they say, don't judge a book by it's cover.
