{ Why is he terrified of flies?:
Everybody's scared of something, right? Well Leo always has been scared of insects, specifically flies. And birds make him a bit nervous too. Perhaps its because they're unpredictable. They fly all around, and they have those creepy eyes, and those sticky legs that feel strange when they land on you. Leo isn't quite sure what sparked this phobia of flies, because of the number of horrible experiences he had in his younger years, however, he knows that was because of them. Most likely, though the phobia of flies and other things that fly at him began with one experience. One small experience. It was a picnic. His first picnic. And he was relaxing in the grass, his olive eyes happy and pure. He had a sandwich in his hand. Suddenly, he sat up to take a bite of his PB&J, only to find a fat fly on it. He screamed. Loud. He dropped the sandwich and ran, still screaming as he left the picnic behind him.

Why is he terrified of flies?: Babur has Ornithophobia it's when your scared of bugs,flies and flying insects. Now onto the real story. Why is he scared of flies? Glad you asked. Most people know it's hot in the Savanna and most animal's go to a water hole to drink. But not him it's always crowded before he get's there! even his roar won't scare them off. Now to the point! he is scared of them because he has a lot of fur (im sure you guy's and gal's have noticed that) well when your wearing heavy clothes and it's like 91 degrees out there don't you get sweaty and hot? Same for our old pal Babur here he has a lot of fur and he get's sweaty so flies are easily attracted. They buzz around him all day.., Now everytime he see's a fly coming near he thinks the most unstoppable most weirdest thing ever! he run's toward the water hole and roar's uncontrollably and dives head first into the water. Pretty weird right? well that's what happen's when you have Ornithophobia :L. (I have it too and i think most people do too )

Why is he terrified of flies?: Well, they bring disease and can cause famine. Also, he read Lord of the Flies, and it just totally freaked him out. He could not sleep for nights after that book was through. Thy also buzz around and get in your nose and eyes and are so gross and icky looking, according to his own words.
