This Majestic dragon is the first dragon sighted with fur. The fur keeps it warm during the cold months and it also uses it to look bigger by poofing it up if threatened.
This teacup dragon lives in the rowanberry trees and its diet consists mainly of insects and rowanberries.Based on this tree:

Dragon's name: Sener -- bringer of joy in Turkish
Gender: Male
Personality: As his bright colors might suggest, this dragon has a very bright and positive attitude. He loves to make others happy. He loves flying around and playing tag with children, but refrains from revealing himself to adults.
Sener lives in rural Turkey, where he spreads joy throughout small villages during holiday seasons. During winter months when New Years Eve is celebrated, he goes to homes and swoops around in the air, dancing mid-flight. He has become a part of tradition for some households, with children coming out in the snow every New Year's Eve to watch him. He tends to show himself only to the children of the village, and for this reason is regarded as a silly, imaginary creature that the children made-up by the adults of the villages. He doesn't mind this, though, and doesn't let it damper his mood. As long as he is pleasing somebody, he will be happy.
Thanks to his constant visiting every year, the children of the village developed the name for him Sener, which means bringer of joy in Turkish.

Sorbus

Male

.:Kind:.
Sorbus is a really sweet guy. He wouldn't hurt a fly, unless he really had to. He would give away his food to those who are starving, and go through the day without any food in his stomach. He will take strangers into his tree, and serve them the best he can. Of course, Sorbus usually prospers, as rowan berry trees bear lots of fruit.
.:Loyal:.
Sorbus isn't the weak willed type. He can stand with strong will, and those that he befriend will have his support forever. Even if he doesn't understand the conflict, Sorbus is usually confident that he should take his friends' side. He won't give into betrayal, and wont leave even if he is treated poorly. Some think he really is foolish.
.:Strong:.
Both physically and mentally, Sorbus is the strong type. He can steel himself and go without food for a couple of days, and he usually wont fall for careful mind manipulation (through words). He seems to be strong for his kind, with claws that can carve through the sturdy rowan tree. Sorbus, of course, would never harm his tree, only cutting away what needs to be cut away.
.:Protective:.
Almost as if h were tied to the rowan tree, Sorbus is quite protective, driving away danger at first sight. Similarly the rowan tree is said to ward off evil, and is also called the traveler's tree because it is said it prevents travelers from getting lost. Sorbus is a friendly host to all who pass by, exept those who wish to do harm.

Username:DragonLoverHereDragon's name:Raun QuickbaneThe name raun is where rowan came from; it's Old Norse for tree. The second part of his name, Quickbane, is another name from Britain for the tree.Gender:MalePersonality:As the haiku at the start of the form sums up, Raun has the innocence and wonder of a child with the world, the strength and energy of one in their prime, and the wisdom and experience of an elder. But I can bet it's just how he shows and uses these traits that you are after. So I'm going to break it down for you (since he is having one of his prideful moments) and show you just how he displays each age in his being through his favorite way to break down being: mind, body, and spirit. The Mind of an ElderRaun might not be your ancient dragon, but his experiences and wisdom are of a seasoned age; he is a ripe middle aged dragon. He obtained his powerful mind from his explorations of the world and misadventures. In his prime, Raun felt a hunger for knowledge and became a world traveler rather than remain home in his trees as others of his species did. In fact, he still tends to drift today; moving from one place to another to try to learn and understand so he may know. He thus has a rare knowledge and understanding of things few like him could grasp, such as human concepts of art and philosophy, and deep respect for the world as it is. He has a strong understanding of many languages from his learning. He uses them regularly, and will use his words rather than actions any day to persuade a point. With an open mind comes his patience and a listening ear, and that makes him something of a therapist and a teacher for younger dragons. It's hard not to see him as a teacher and scholar when his reading spectacles are perched upon his snout.
Sadly, Raun's mind doesn't come all without flaw. His extreme knowledge beyond others gives him a slight feeling of superiority and makes him a little standoffish. He will be stubborn on points he feels deep passion for, and will rarely change his mind once he sets it on something that he alone must do. So though he may help others with their troubles, he will refute any advice towards his own with a burning pride. The Body of an AdolescentTravel and wisdom taught Raun not only about the world and it's problems, but it enabled him to develop a fine understanding of well being and living long. In other words, Raun was able to keep his body lean and his fur growing with an unusual shine- where older teacups might lose luster of scales. He values a healthy body as the founding of a happy life and peaceful mind. His experiences, particularly in Asia, gave him the tools to look like still he's in his prime. Among them are herbal remedies and potions he learned to make from all natural origins, so he's something of a physician and botanist- some even call him monk-ish when they consider his humbler lifestyle. He has a special shampoo he made just for his fur even, but don't say anything because it's his 'personal miracle cream.'
The Spirit of a ChildThe seeds of what Raun is were sown in his childhood. He was always the odd dragon out, going off on adventures near his home while the other teacups played together. While others would duck and hide when children come out to play, Raun would creep out to watch and try to interact. He is to this day the quiet kind, preferring to listen rather than chatter, but this was due to his deep curiosity and thought train. Raun always wanted to know more, to feel more, to be able to speak where others couldn't and know what he was saying. He wanted to experience it all, and as soon as he left his nest, he made it a point to satisfy his unquenchable hunger for knowledge beyond his home.
The hunger for knowing like a child comes with a certain innocence to the world and the persistant 'why?' they ask. Though he is seasoned, he still possesses these traits, as well as a heavy love of fun. He will play harmless pranks and joke often, and will make a clown of himself so others laugh and enjoy his company. This makes him quite popular among younger dragons and children. Raun is undeniably sweet when he wants to be, and enjoys being pet and snuggled to help people feel better or to get out their emotions. What else can you say but he is charming?
Hobbies and InterestsClearly, Raun has his own pass times like other dragons. But while most dart between plants and pick objects for a nest, Quickbane here has a love of old fashioned objects and ancient cultures. He takes his time in museums and on many a historic dig when travelling the world, but of all of his travels and adventures he enjoys the Mediterranean region the most. His deepest passion comes with ancient Greek and Roman artifacts, in love with the unique culture and the divine pottery and architecture. He has the greatest knowledge thus of this spectrum, and will often buy such objects in auction no matter how odd or broken up they are.
Raun also loves anything about his homeland, the British Isles, and tends to keep tightly in the old fashions of it. A waistcoat and pocket watch are among his favorite things to wear, but he has a large wardrobe thanks to his friend Lys. Other items he can be seen with are various ivy caps (he has a certain impulse to buy all the versions he can) and in formal wear akin to tuxedos and suits.
Raun also has a deep love of reading, and has always loved it. His avid reading as a baby lead him to reading late at night with small candles and lanterns. but, this strained his eyes to a point that he is farsighted. He now wears small reading spectacles when going through old volumes and looking at any document.Social LifeRaun has two great friends he made in Paris, Lys and Pierre (both my own). Since he loves Paris so, he has made it something of a home to go to after another adventure, hence the reason why he was able to form a rare friendship with these two young dragons. It can be complicated or simple, but no matter how you look at it, his relationship with these two in particular is long and caring, and he helps keep the peace between these two polar opposites.
For Lys, Raun acts as an art tutor and adviser. As she paints, Raun will aid her in perception and concepts, as well as her techniques. Her often rampant perfectionist needs lead her into fits at times that only he can talk her out of. Lys thanks to him is slowly becoming better about her high standards, but has far to go before she truly understands the world as he sees it; that the perfection is in imperfection (she calls this idea "la folie complète et totale!"). So though they might fight like a cat and dog when it comes to being superior (and he normally wins!), and though she might think he's completely bonkers, Lys knows that Raun is a puzzle she may never solve and respects his fine attitude and intriguing stories.
Pierre, on the other hand, takes Raun as his favorite playmate and a father. Pierre may only be slightly younger than Lys, but Raun can see the spark of curiosity and energy that drives Pierre. The two of them get up to all forms of misadventures near home and enjoying the freedom of the world on a lazy day. Raun's exotic tales and collection of oddities never cease to amaze him and make him have the want to know more, as Raun does. Pierre will actually calm down his normally energetic self when Raun is around and listen as Raun teaches him about everything, hanging on to his every word like it's gold dust. Epic adventures and pure wisdom are always afoot when this teacher and his pupil are together.
