What is a Sora Neko?
Sora nekos are what all of the felines of the world originate from, they are an ancient species, only recently discovered. They are much like the felines of today except that they defy the laws of science, like they can fly and unnatural phenomenon seem to happen around them, some classing it as 'magic'.

Story of how you found him/her:

If there's one thing Allison, my little sister, loves most, it's flying her kite. Its huge, and painted to look like a pink and yellow butterfly floating in the breeze. It has a wingspan of about 4 feet, so on a particularly really windy day I do feel anxious when my sister, who is only eleven, is holding onto the string tight and leaning back so her weight counteracts the wind's pull on the kite. Her knuckles are sometimes white as she keeps the kite under control, and I can't help but feel that one day she is going to be blown away, so I go along with her to keep her safe.
She sometimes complains, but Mom sees my point. My headphones are usually in when I go with her, but my music is low incase something happens. Allison's favourite spot to go is the beach, and sometimes we meet others who are also flying kites. Its a nice chance for her to meet new friends; something she has a knack for since she has such a sunny personality. I'm perfectly content to stand back and watch her.
On this particular day, it's just the two of us at the beach. The air is warm, and there's enough of a wind for the kite to fly. Allison has this look of pure joy on her face, and I wonder if she imagines herself flying too. She's such a dreamer, I don't feel comfortable to be the one to make her face reality and crash land to earth just yet. She is still a young girl with big dreams and a big heart, and a kid like her should have them.
"Look, Sis!"
Allison's squeal cuts through my thoughts, and I pull my headphones out quickly. I noticed Allison is still looking up, and so I too glance up. I fear that the kite had a tear before we let it fly, and the force of the wind tore the hole wider, but no. I don't notice anything unusual, until a white, green and brown striped creature dives out from beneath it. Allison squealed louder and pulled the strings to make the kite dive, soar and sway while I stood with my mouth hanging open in amazement.
A Sora Neko was playing with the kite, meowing happily as it too mimicked its movements that my sister controlled, pawing at the string and rubbing it's flank along the wings. I think it was my second ever time seeing one, but the first time that I saw one so close.
When it was time to go, Allison reeled in the kite in disappointment. I could see she wanted to play some more, but I remind her that dinner would probably be ready back home, though I couldn't blame her. The Sora Neko floated some ways above us, watching us turn and walk away across the sand and grass.
I never expected it to swoop down behind us and follow, it's streamline body undulating as it rolled and twisted it's body to look at us, as if asking to play some more.
It blinked mismatching eyes at us, and with a smile, I reached out and offered my hand for it to smell.
"Never thought I'd see the day that a Sora Neko would dance on the wind with a butterfly,"
