Name: Jolon {meaning; valley of the dead oaks}


While most wyverns tend to live high in the mountains or atop a plateau, this specific one has taken up a large valley. A valley that was at one time in the past filled with lush, beautiful oak trees. However, around the time the wyvern holed up in a cliff-side cave near the valley, a massive bushfire wiped out most of the plant life, leaving a charred oak forest in the aftermath. When a near by Native American tribe learned of the wyvern's presence, they named him 'Jolon' after the valley of dead oaktrees in which he called home.

Age: One hundred and twenty five.


On average, a wyvern of Jolon's stature would normally live to somewhere around five hundred years of age. The oldest living wyvern on record was just over a thousand, but no other has yet to come and outlive such an age. Most are either killed by experienced hunters, or die of natural causes.


Height: About eighteen feet tall when standing upright.


Wyverns can range greatly when it comes to an average height. Though, most seem to be somewhere between seventeen feet and twenty one feet when they reach adulthood. It isn't uncommon to find a wyvern that is smaller or larger, either.
