Flower446; Hey! I'm Flower446 and I've been around since Aug 19, 2012 . I've had my fair share of role-playing and I enjoy adopting pets. :3 I've never really taken the time to enter for a Kia, but when I saw this boy I had no choice. I'm normally on every other day, (unless I'm busy with school or trips) so I would check on and care for him everyday :3 Thanks for letting me enter for this beautiful boy!
Forgotten Flame; I had no true parents to honor me with a name so the mountain that protected and guided me chose a title. Anytime I would near the mountain or climb the shadowy paths leading to it's point, the great mountain seemed to whisper Flame, Flame, fear not... Fear not, Flame... But I knew that I was unknown in the village below and that fearing not was impossible. Only true flames are brave and remembered so I call myself, Forgotten Flame.
I am a male, brute... boy... Whatever you please. My countenance should have confirmed that question. Though I have met few females, they were all wild and flirtatiousness. And I hope to be quite the opposite.
A forgotten flame is a dangerous one, for when forgotten, it grows.
It was a quiet, humid, morning sometime in May. The day, I do not know because I do not keep a calendar, but there was something about the sky that made me wonder. Made me wonder why I felt so worried. Made me wonder why it felt as if death were upon me. It made me wonder what I had done or if I had done the terrible thing that caused the sky to look like pitch. The difference between the clouds and the sky was none. Everything was as if tar had just glazed it. Everything but the mountain, on which I lived. My mountain had an odd glow to it unlike previous mornings. I mentioned earlier that it was a quiet morning. I was wrong. It was like death had swept through and sucked the lives from the unsuspecting citizens below. Deathly silent. The silence was enough to make your ears ring and long for the laughter of a child or the tinkling of water.
I had to know why the world slept.
Some deep feeling told me that the sky and my mountain were displeased. Displeased with sin. I started up my mountain, climbing the well-worn path that lead to the lip. My mountain was unique. At the peak, there was a hole, not a sharp point like most. The hole was endless and normally as dark as the clouds that now loomed overhead but now there was a mysterious glow coming from deep within the abyss. My heart was beating like no time before, racing as if I had committed the greatest crime. I tried to remember back over my life, searching for any wrong action or thought. None came.
Then, without warning or mercy, it happened. My mountain exploded. Boil hot ash, smoke and lava spewed from the lips of the mountain I had trusted for so long. I lept from rock to rock, trying not to touch the molten rocks or flames that licked up everything so quickly. And this was not just fire, it was white fire. Fire so hot it could devour a tree in less than a second. I figured it would be my assassin.
All too soon I could see no standing rock to leap to. They had all been melted by the liquid fire. I stood there, unable to move, frozen in fear as I watched the lava overtake the rock I had been standing on. My paws quivered as the lava touched them, but just as fast as it had touched them, it surprised me. The lava that touched my paws was no hotter than the ground that people walk every day. My eyes adjusted to the heat and light coming from the mountain and a soft clear voice whispered,
Flame, Flame, fear not......
