a snort escaped velvet nares, echoing on the brisk night air. Zsigmond's breath spiraled skyward, a smoky dragon released from its cage and quickly dispersing in its freedom. Audits perked forth, crystal gems scanning the terra. IT was quiet this night. He rather enjoyed the quiet. Cloven hoofs strike the dust and grass in tandem with one another, leaving behind soft impressions in their wake. Nonehad found his little cove of heaven. His minute get away from the masses. And he would defend it with all he had. Sometimes the hustle and bustle of the others and their variosu dramas was a bit to much. He paused atop a small incline, gazing down over the other Scorpion Saber Fjords, a soft huff of approval released. They were content, settling down for the night. Each unique coat, each wondferul, and often times frightening personalities, was something he had grown accustomed to. He was thankful for that. He wasn't sure he could accept his kind should they all had been so similar. And there was no sign of any two legged intruders, either. Somethign else he was thankful for. The other stallions being as moody as He, no human woudl stand a chance attmepting to break them, let alone capture them. He turned back to return to his hide away in a small grove of trees. He shook hsi pelt and with a soft sigh he settled against a tree trunk. His hind hoof cocked, and shoulder against the tree, he was comfortable, and there was no danger of jammign himself with his tail . He'd done that a time or two as a yearling. Lesson learned. Eyelids grew heavy, the sound of crickets and other night time creatures serenading him to slumber;peaceful dreams wisping their way into hsi cranium, promising a safe night's rest, and a glorious day to follow this silent night.
