*Bonus: I don't have a March break, actually. But if I did, I would do a lot of photography, because I recently received a beautiful vintage Holga camera.

    TDD's Common Name: Chocolate Drop
    TDD's Gender: Female
Story/Art: Chocolate Drop walks through a meadow with her nonexistent friends. She sighs and stops walking, letting her friends go on ahead. She walks by herself into a dark forest and stumbles across a campsite. She walks over to the benches and fire to investigate a small brown thing. Sniffing it cautiously, she smiles to herself for the brown drop of stuff smelled delicious. She carefully picks it up in her mouth and chews it, savoring the flavor of the chocolate kiss. After she eats it, she looks around for more. She follows it's scent into a tent where a man sleeps. In this mans' pocket is a large chocolate bar. She licks her lips and carefully pulls it out of his pocket and quickly retreats before he can wake up. She trots triumphantly back to her home, her trophy hanging from her mouth. As her friends and family watch her happily eat her treasure of chocolate, they laugh softly to themselves...

      Christine Daae, thanks!
    TDD's Common Name:
Her common name? It would be Lullaby, because if you're quiet and a sweet Timber Dwarf, she'll pour out the song of her life, and if you charm her, you might even find her singing--the only song she knows, a soft lullaby, but a beautiful song.
    TDD's Gender:
      Female, definitely.
    Story/Art:
The small, beautiful brown tabby Dwarf blushed. The big, silver and blue swirled Dwarf continued his words of charm, his look haughty and arrogant. “And then I said,” he pronounced haughtily, “Well, darling girl, you’re not from this part of town if you haven’t met me. But you, Winter, you’re something different. You’re beautiful and elegant and simply so entrancing, you’re dainty and you’re just the kind of Timber Dwarf I like.” He smiled to reveal pointed white teeth, but his smile was sweet, generous, and genuine. Winter dipped her head, her own expression as red as a beet. “You, darling, you. You’re so interesting and unique.”

The two Timber Dwarves interlocked their bushy tales and looked over the cliffs at the dipping sun, rippling on the river. The two were affectionate to each other. Winter rolled over and watched the fleeting clouds escape her view and then stood up, shook her fur out, and gave one last goodbye look to Storm. “Bye,” she whispered. “My mother will want to know where I’ve been. I’ll meet you tomorrow at this same spot, Storm. Oh, and your mother mustn’t know. She’ll be furious. You know how much she’s depended on you for that mating with River.”

Storm nodded solemnly and the two parted. Storm was a rather rare Timber Dwarf, meaning that his mother loved him very much and wanted him to marry another rare Timber Dwarf. Winter didn’t care much for the coarse work she did in the city, brushing table crumbs and whatnot, but the city was close to where Storm lived, so she didn’t mind too much. The small, common Dwarf knew that sweeping crumbs and whatnot was bad work, though, and wanted to find another job.

Winter shoved a few large crumbs off the tables and curled up in her comfy bed.

      ***

River died of a rare disease. It came quickly upon her like a meteorite and burned her from head to toe. She was deadly cold when she died but so warm otherwise. No one knew what had happened to her, but secretly Winter and Storm were happy. Neither of them had wanted River to die, of course, but it was for the best. Now they could be perfectly happy together. No one could put them apart again.

That was, until it happened. Weird humans, these Hunter people, wanted certain Dwarves dead. Something about labor shortage and unfairness to higher specimens in mind and body. The Timber Dwarves had to flee the cities in fear that the Hunter might catch up to them. The Hunters kept on chasing them, but oh, the Dwarves were small and swift, and they avoided the great lumbering oafs with ease.

Until Winter’s birthday. She’d always loved the great mushroom that grew in a clearing. Unfortunately, so did the Hunters. Winter hadn’t eaten one since she was two or three, mostly because of the Hunters and also because Winter’s mother hated mushrooms. She’d mentioned it to Storm, that she had a great craving for them, and valiant, brave Storm decided to go and steal one. She’d warned him against it, but no. He had to go, for honor and things like that.

Storm pounced forth and ran off with a mushroom. But the Hunters had traps, and a net snagged him. His eyes were wide and afraid for the first time in his life. His eyes begged for Winter but he dared not shout out her name. If he did, they’d get her to. No, they had to think he was alone. The biggest Hunter examined him and then muttered, “Get his companion.” Oh, no. They knew about her. She was caught off guard, and the oafs lifted her with their senseless hands and put her in a net too.

The biggest oaf looked them up and down and made his decision. “If we execute the big, nice looking one, I reckon his pelt’ll have a good price on the market. We can let the small pretty one go. Do we have a deal?” Winter was seething with fury. She shook her head at Storm but for once in his life, he ignored her. If he could, he had to save Winter’s life. And this was the only way. He nodded. Winter screamed. The next thing she knew, a last interlocking of their tales, she was let free, and there was a thud.

That day, Winter ran. She ran as quickly as she could, far, far away. She changed her name to Lullaby. If anyone recognized her from her pelt, they wouldn’t know her. She avoided anyone who tried to contact her. Winter was dead. She had died with Storm. But Radio was a new Dwarf. She’d never love again, she vowed. Never again, never again.

Sorry, Radio's already the name of Crimsoned's TDD. Maybe you could change it to something like Song, or Lullaby, or Music or Note or Tune, or...well, there's a lot of music based names. I'm sure you can find something.
