Sora nekos are what all of the felines of the world originate from, they are an ancient species, only recently discovered. They are much like the felines of today except that they defy the laws of science, like they can fly and unnatural phenomenon seem to happen around them, some classing it as 'magic'.

I’m really not sure what it means, but I look at is as an alternative spelling of the name Tobby. I thought it fit this Sora Neko, quite well. When I envisioned him, I immediately thought of the name, Tobe.

How I found him;;
I found Tobe at a coffee shop. Strange place you say? Yeah, I suppose it is. I was walking around downtown, it was the weekend and slightly rainy. It felt dreary, sad, and cold; I suppose I was quite tired as well, because the thought of a warm mug of coffee seemed to apeal to me more than hot chocolate, which is my favorite drink.
I had walked to the corner of the road, and turned a sharp left towards the quaint coffee shop. It in truth, was a genuine coffee shop, it didn't serve any other food or drink, just coffee. The breeze tickled my ears, and that persueded me to pull my hoddie up, I hated the cold after all. When I approached the white, and very small building, I could finally smell what made me walk five blocks in the cold weather, to get. Coffee. The wonder, and warm fragrence pierced the fog like a knife, and it drew me nearer. The building was small and white, with a light brown trim. A large blue sign boasted the coffee shop's name, and through the thin fog, I could make out birds nests that were nestled in the o's and e's. I walked slowly towards the door, and that was when I saw him, Tobe.
At first I was quite surprised to see a cat, this city doesn't usually have them wandering around out in the open. But then I realized, that it wasn't quite a cat. Tobe was laying down next to the slightly rusted door, quite thin, but definately alive. He sort of...looked at me, with his bright blue eyes, and then my eyes drifted down to his abnormally long tail, and that was when I saw the blue magical orbs, suspended in the air. At first I rubbed my eyes, and looked away from the beautiful cat, but when I opened them again, he was still there, and this time, he stood up and padded slowly over to me...it was strange, trust me. But I felt...what is it called? A bond. Yes, I felt a bond to this strange cat, what I later learned was a Sora Neko. I named him...

Tobe loves coffee. He was born near the coffee shop, and he grew up with the smell of coffee in his nostrils. When he was younger, Tobe was bitter, just like the coffee he had tasted, the first day he came to the shop. But as he grew, he became more accepting, more gentle. He never tasted coffee after that first time, but he decided to give it another try. And...he liked it. He loved it so much it became a passion. The kindly store owner gave him coffee every morning. Now the old man wasn't really sure if cats were supposed to have coffee...in fact, he was pretty sure they weren't, but Tobe was healthy enough so he figured, why not? Tobe loves coffee, and he always will perhaps.

Tobe loves rainy days. The sound of rain drumming on windows, and on roofs is simply irresistable to him. Tobe suffers from insomnia and he seems to have a easier time falling asleep in a thunderstorm than in perfect silence. Of course...the only thing Tobe hates about the rain, is the mud! Tobe takes pride in his appearance, and hates getting his paws muddy.

What? Magic? Isn't that something only little girls and boys believe in? Well...not to Tobe. To Tobe, magic is real.... He thinks it's in everything. Every raindrop, every dandilion, every breeze. He finds wonder in everything he looks at, nature to him is magic in itself. And I suppose that's why many people think Tobe is unique, he hasn't lost that sense of innocence and wonder.

No, Tobe hates needles. He is very skittish around anything sharp, and even though he's never been to the veternarian, he has a healthy fear of all things pointy.
What I'll do with him;;
If I ever won this Sora Neko, I'd be estatic. First, I'd add him to my character site, and make a thread for him here, on CS. Second, I'll order a ton of art for him, and start drawing him. Third, I'd roleplay him, have him meet other Neko's, and the like. And fourth, I'd start bragging to my friends. (Lol, what a mean person I am. xD) He would be extremely special to me, as this would be my first Sora Neko, and the only one I really connected with. I know a lot of people that try out for things like this say, 'Oh, I loved him/her since the moment I layed eyes on them!!!!!', but I really did love him when I saw him. He really just...appealed to me. I just started sketching him right then and there before I even decided that I wanted to try out for him. Tobe would be very special to me, I love him now, and I'll love him forever. I hope this sweet boy goes to a good home, thank you for the opportunity! <3
