How he broke his heart-----------------------------
One day a little pony was running around in his stall. He was bored out of his mind. "Flame?" his owner called. "Come, jump" she encouraged. Little Flame ran and jumped out of his stall, like he did every morning for feeding time. His owner treated him normally, due to his rare color and his odd features. His owner walked his around to the feeding barn. She filled up a bottle of warm water, and put it into a smaller bottle. She put formula in it and mixed for about 3 minutes. She took the lid off of the nursing part. Little Flame bit onto it and suckled. He was tired after he finished. His owner, going by the name of Sal, brought him back to his stall. He flopped down and curled into a small ball. He slept for a while. Then in the morning her woke up. He felt three times bigger. Because of his horn, he grew faster over night, or when he slept. He heard his owner call him and he jumped up jumping over the door to the stall. He followed her to the feeding barn and today he got to eat milk mixed with corn/hay/molasses. He loved the taste of it. He wasn't as tired so he got to explore more often. Over about two weeks later, he was about the size of a real regular adult horse. When he awoke early that morning he didn't hear his owner call him. But he heard movement outside his stall. Sal had always talked to him about safety. He wasn't safe right now for all he knew it was a predator. He jumped out of stall realizing it was only Sal. He jumped to far and knocked her over. Flame watched in pain as Sal twitched and then in all stopped moving. Sal was dead.
