What is a Cloud Furred Fox?
{ aka CFF }

A Cloud Furred Fox is a small, shy creature closely related to the fox. It is roughly twice the size of the regualar domestic housecat. CFFs are know and desired for their extremely soft, fluffy fur and long, puffy tails, which are easily the length of their bodies, sometimes twice the length. They have long, slender tufts on their ears, and remarkably small paws for their size. Their diet consists mostly of fruits, nuts, and seeds, rarely will they eat another animal; such as a mouse, bird, or insect. They are extremely good climbers, and spends a lot of time in trees, where they sleep in large bird-like nests.

Once there was a very poor shoemaker and his wife. They had very little money and only had enough to buy enough leather to make one pair of shoes. That night the shoemaker and his wife went to bed. The shoemaker planned to get up early in the morning to make the pair of shoes so they would have enough money to buy food for tomorrow. While they were asleep, some little elves came in and made a beautiful pair of shoes for the shoemaker. When the shoemaker woke up, he was very surprised. He sold the shoes and made enough money to buy enough leather to make two pairs of shoes. Again the elves came that night and made two beautiful pairs of shoes. It went on until finally the shoemaker wanted to find out what was happening. He and his wife sat up and hid, watching the elves make the shoes. They were very grateful to the elves, so in the morning they made the elves some little hats, shoes, and tunics (the elves had only long underwear to wear) and set them out for the elves. When the elves saw the clothes, they were very happy, but they didn't come back to make more shoes. But the shoemaker now had plenty of money, and his workmanship (though not as good as the elves) was still very good. So he and his wife lived happily ever after.
