Name of Wysper:
Nysali. It is based off of Greek "Nysa," which is a fairly common Greek name for girls meaning "new beginning" (cliche, I know) and is also an ancient Greek city in Turkey, which was dedicated to the "party god" Dionysus. It was a very important city in both ancient times and in modern day (if only because of its historical attributes), and it bears important ruins from both the Hellenistic period, the Roman period, AND the Byzantine era. So her name could be pretty important to both the plot of my story (the end of my form elaborates on my story) and her backstory.
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Kind of an "elf-ish" personality; kinda hard to explain... Sorta mystical and peaceful and small-smile-on-my-face kind of thing? Graceful, very much so, and almost floaty. Likes to laugh, but it's always a little rumbly, almost purring chuckle unless you really get her going. Overall a happy, upbeat creature. She does have that deeply hidden sorrow for the world, though... Definitely the you-will-see-with-time and the I-know-more-than-you-are-aware-of type, most likely because of how long she's lived (a long, loooong time; they are immortal, right, or just very, very, very long-lived?) and all the things she's seen.
Do you know One Piece? If so, do you know Nico Robin? Yeah, kinda like her.
Habits:
- Tends to address others as though they are young, which, in her case, they really are. It's understandable...
- Has a bit of an odd (possibly antique) way of speaking, brought on by the places she's lived (and exactly how long ago she lived in those places c; haha).
- Has a tendency to forget herself in time: she has trouble calculating the time between two specific times. For example, she could travel from one place to another and be unable to tell how long the journey took. Is it two days? Is it five days? I dunno! x) There is the sun, of course, but she just sort of loses herself somewhere along the way.
- Pretty much overdoes calling people/animals by their names. Like, all the time. All the time. Some sort a weird formal habit brought outta antiquity...
Other:As soon as I saw her, I knew she'd be perfect in my story. I don't want to sound like I'm just saying this to have a higher chance of winning her, I just think you might like to know what I'd do with her. I am writing a story about CS pets; it will be very long, and for the sake of my writing freedom, I have made a
tumblr just for the story. I don't have anything posted on it yet but informational things, but as soon as I get up all the informational stuff and some archival things, I'll start posting the actual story. You can sort of read the plot in the first post (I really have to rewrite it), so I won't bother explaining about that. I'll just tell you her part in my story, were I allowed to have her. c:
My story is about love and loyalty and teamwork and
feelings and
meaning and
depth. That's the great thing about animals; they are always
genuine. My story focuses on the importance of nature; nature is magical. We humans are incapable of understanding many things about nature, and because of our inherent nature as humans, we really never should understand them. We may not even be aware of all the things existing in nature, such as this creature. Magic exists, and she is an example of it. Magic
is nature. Animals understand this perfectly. They can accept it without hesitation. A human would outright deny the existence of a Wysper, should they see one, but animals would immediately understand that a Wysper is just another piece of nature, even if they had never seen it before.
So she would be in my story. All the animals and creatures I put in my story, whether they are a pet created by CS or a custom character of mine, have their moments in the spotlight. I wouldn't just ignore her, I would play her. She wouldn't be one of my major characters, but I don't put any character in my story and just not write from their point of view. She would have her own role, her own purpose, and I have a really great scene in my head. She would certainly play an integral part in one of my character's lives. Arriving out of the dark like some sort of phantom, giving the reason for her arrival as wanting to taste the new beginnings that had just opened up for my bunny character, my dragon character explaining the existence and nature of Wyspers to my bunny, the awe and wonder in my bunny's mind as he learned of a new type of nature's magic.
Awesome.
I would love to let her travel around in my story universe. Oh, the fun I could have~
