Blue Dancer froze as she spotted him, he was waving to some of his school friends and classmates down the hallway, but she couldn't see anyone but him. He was the handsomest male she had ever seen in her life, and she began to blush horribly as she watched him. One of his friends called out to him, and she learned that his name was Stryker Cloud. There was no need to think about it, she knew from that very first moment that she was terribly, horribly in love with him, this male who probably didn't even know her name.

Stryker Cloud saw her watching, but was too shy to turn around and say hello to her. It wasn't every day such a lovely young mare wanted your attention, but he didn't want to ruin anything because he was so darn shy. Instead he just waved to his friends and watched her out of the corner of his eye, she really was so much more beautiful than the other girls at the school. Then he remembered that they had been foal-hood friends, but they hadn't really spoken to each other since then. Well, he was determined to change that some day... just not today.

Blue Dancer was watching him when suddenly she realized she couldn't hold back any longer. If she waited long enough, one of the other females would snatch him up! She galloped over to him, skidding across the smooth, polished floors of the school, and nearly smacked right into him. "Hi," She breathed softly, awe-struck by how close they were, together, and when he didn't pull away immediately, she felt her chest tighten and her heartbeat quicken. "Uh... I'm Blue Dancer..."
"I know," He whispered, gazing at her with eyes full of interest. Of course, she didn't know, but he was already head over hooves for her, and he couldn't wait to make her his. "Hey... shot in the dark... you wanna go on a date sometime?" He offered, grinning crookedly at her as he swished his tail rythmically from side to side. "I mean, you're really pretty, and I think we could have a lot of fun."
"YES!" Blue Dancer shrieked, then blushed and said a lot more quietly, "I mean, uh, yeah. I think we could have a lot of fun, too." She smiled serenely at him, and he leaned down and gently kissed her on the cheek, making her blush even more bright red, before waving and turning to leave. All she could think about was their upcoming date!
